East Yorkshire
Robert Peet, James Knowles, Henry Gill, Gavan Holohan, Daniel East, Ben Clappison, Tom Bennett, Kealan Dillon, Mark Cullen, Jay Simpson, Daniel Emerton

Substitutes: Joe Cracknell, Francis McCaffrey, Dougie Wilson, Jack Barlow, Lewis Clarkson

Currently 1-0 City, Simpson the scorer(assist from Cullen).

According to Theo, it doesn't look like Barmby and Parkinson have got much time for each other.

Peet in goal suggests it's definitely going to be Oxley on the bench on Saturday.

Simpson On Target For Reserves

Jay Simpson was on target for Hull City Reserves as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Bradford City at North Ferriby United on Wednesday afternoon.

Simpson struck early to put the Tigers ahead and there were chances to further extend the lead, but Kevin Kilbane's side were frustrated by the woodwork and Bradford goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin on more than one occasion.

Bradford levelled midway through the second half, but the Tigers were soon back in front thanks to a well taken goal from substitute Lewis Clarkson.

It wasn't enough, though, as Bradford levelled the match again with a goal deep into added time.

Full report to follow....

Bradford: Jon McLaughlin, Cole Harrop, Matt Fry, Chris Mitchell, Declan McGivern, Jack Fisher, Dominic Rowe, James Nanje-Ngoe, Deane Smally, Adam Baker, Thomas Marshall.

I went today.

Holohan particularly caught my eye. Looks a very decent central midfielder - can certainly pick a pass.

I have to disagree with that one. Holohan was slow, sloppy and a liability. Other than that I thought the players had a really good game.

You don't watch the reserves much do you?

Holohan has impressed me numerous times this season, his passing and movement especially don't particularly remember him having a bad game. However i admit i didn't go today, just shocked that this is the same player that i have seen all year.

Well you obviously dont watch them enough!!!I watch the reserves both home and away and I have done so for many seasons!!

Although I dont like to slate our own players, I honestly think Holohan is below par and will not make the grade, in fact I would go as far as to say he will be released. Sorry just my opinion.

Fair enough, everybody can have their own opinion. Personally, I thought he was frequently on the ball moving the team forward, and he made a couple of excellent long-range passes across the pitch.

I generally thought Holohan, East, Emerton and Clarkson when he came on had pretty good games. The only player who I would actively say had a poor game is Bennett.

I would agree with you on the other players, I thought they looked very solid and creative, perhaps some talent for the near future

I will admit due to work i tend not to get to see them away from home, but watch them at home every week and i suppose i just right him highly. You must just want other things from a player. He may end up being released but as a club we have a problem at bringing players from reservelevel to first team level as i dont think enough are sent out on loan to gain football.
