OBVIOULY I'm not alone in that category!!!
You have zip chance of a debate with someone who is so stuck up their own arse they can't read an "essay". If you had any reasonable sentiments I'd listen, especially if you took time to research all my points and prove them wrong, as that would help me hone my argument. As it is, you are just as woefully inept as most monarchists when justifying her dominion. Bye bye![]()

The country, we are now finding out, has been getting robbed blind and shafted sideways by bankers and financiers for several decades. Why don't you direct your energy and anger towards them, instead of getting all worked up about an old lady who has spent a lifetime fulfilling her official duties without complaint?
I'm not a monarchist, by the way. I'm just not a republican either. It's not really an issue, when you look at who really has the power, and who abuses it.
You know your right, nobody can wield scissors to cut ribbon like her, and have to admit I could never launch a bottle like her to get a mighty ship on the move. It also takes great skill to host those garden parties. Perhaps millions a year, a personal fortune, a few properties, a few racehorses, a few pieces of art, a few jewells might compensate you. Not bad for someone who got her position by an accident of birth, how responsible and democratic.

She has not got this position by ability, she has got it by birthright, this is wrong and grossly offensive, and undemocratic. Most people are faced with all kinds of problems at work, like facing job worries and lack of income, this unelected woman has a job for life, for no given talent, its a ceremonial role, which costs over 200 million a year to fund. If the monarchy went tommorow it would not make an iota of difference in real terms.
