Ok soooooooooooo

Lallana gone
Lambert gone
Shaw gone
Lovren will go after todays episode
Schneiderlin likely to go unless we sign some major big names
Guly Gone
Jay Rod Injured
Osvaldo will go

Thats 8 players who wont be available against liverpool add to that the fact we had a small squad to start with, what do we need to replace these players?

GK - Most people want another keeper but problem is can you keep 2 quality keepers happy??? Marshall of Cardiff will be expensive but would provide good competition.

RB - Providing Clyne and Chambers stay this is probably our strongest position

CB- IMO we will need 2 as Jos isn't up to it and Maya isn't great. Leaving just Fonte. Any of Martins Indi, De Vrij, Caulker, Van Dijk, Dawson, Micah Richards, would be great.

LB- Happy to have Targett in the first team squad but need a senior figure to aid his development. Linked with Armero who to be honest i dont know much about. Ryan Bertrand or a very ambitious bid for Daley Blind would be good.

CM - Vic, Cork and JWP mean were fairly well covered with Read coming through aswell but if Morgan goes one decent midfielder would be useful. Maybe take a punt on Jack Rodwell or as was recently hinted on twitter Axel Witsel albeit if we sign him that would be an incredible signing.

AM- This is where we are particularly short Gaston, Davis, Jrod, are about it some youngsters will no doubt push through but we will need atleast 2-3 new players here Tadic looks a done deal. Maybe a sneaky bid for Wilfried Zaha? And why not try for Mathieu Valbuena available for 6-8m. Scott Sinclair/Victor Moses are two possibilities and why not see about getting Tom Ince?

ST - Well other than Gallagher and Mayuka there isnt much left. I think Gallagher will get game time but we need to get two players in up front atleast

Danny Ings and Jordan Rhodes have been linked aswell as Paulinho from Italy. Hernandez apparently turned us down, I think we have to be ambitious here im all for giving Ings/Rhodes a go but why not bid for someone like Michu who appears to be leaving Swansea? Lukaku would be immense but would never join us but why not give it a go.

If Koeman brings in some big names maybe Morgan will stay and maybe players like Hernandez may think twice before turning us down, business certainly needs to pick up ASAP.

Who would you're replacements be? And do any of the above seem likely?

strikers: Altidore, Lewandowski
attacking mid/wingers: Hazard (Ethan), Adu, James Rodriguez
central mid: Jonathan Toews
left back: Gareth Bale
Center backs: Lance Briggs, Clay Matthews

Nah to Zaha, Witsel is dreamland but why not ave a go!
Marshall def, Caulker def, as for Tom Ince I'd prefer his dad!

This week HAS to be the week we sign some players.... I keep believing.

Michu is probably going to Napoli but that would mean Goran Pandev being available. Witsel is a ridiculous rumour and not worth talking about. Valbuena won't happen.

I reckon Forster and Van Dijk are likely signings, Tadic seems certain and I'm resigned to getting Pelle. Of the LBs mentioned any of Armero, Kolodziejcak and Robertson would please me.

Valbuena has been linked with Wet Spam though. I'd like Timothee out of those three.

I stopped reading at Zaha, No credibility to the thread when that is taken seriously.

I really hope that we don't get Martins Indi or Blind as from what I have seen of them I have been very disappointed. Martins Indi is petulant and make poor decisions whereas Blind's passing at the World Cup has been poor. Dawson is too slow, Richards is on too higher wages and Rodwell is too injury prone! Would love Valbuena but I don't think we realistically have a chance and De Vrij is probably out of our league too - but he would be great and Koeman may be able to help on that coup.

Realistically someone like Luis Neto, Armero may be a possibility but we really need a couple of very good strikers and I have little idea of whom we can get.
