As said above i cant see us signing another decent striker for 8.5mil. I think we should now take a risk on potential talents rather than the "proven" Bony or Lukaku or Rodroiguez, none of whom fit our style of play adequately enough
Would we look at benteke? Or again at lukaku

Dissapointed for Remy and Lfc be difficult to get another striker of that quality for 8.5 million.
-----------
Apparently we knew about his problems previous which begs the question why did we waste our time? Oh well.
Reading heart problems.
What happened to Yesil. I know he got injured, but I assume he got over it. He had a fantastic scoring record until he came to us.
I thought of Benteke. Brilliant in his first season at Villa but injures ruined his second and ended his world cup hopes.
Could we got to Southampton again for Rodriquez![]()
Bendtner is a free agent. Apparently his move to Eintracht Frankfurt fell through as his wage demands were £40k per week plus a £30k bonus for each point they earned in the league. Not that he fancies himself as a top player!!!!
I was joking about signing him by the way as he is complete pony

I believe that we need to try and sign a marquee striker. I'd also like to keep Borini. He could be really useful after the season he has had. Made of glass but luckily it isn't his knees.
Thing is there aren't really any marquee out and out forwards in the market at the moment. Only players that can "do a job" up front but are at their best playing behind the striker, which is all well and good when sturridge plays, but when he doesnt can you rely on them to lead the line?
