@Spurlock any news on Joe mate. I appreciate probably difficult to find out, just wondering that was all mate.

Easy bro

I've texted Joe twice since his op, a few days after and about 3 weeks ago. I've had no response.

His lad posts on the Sunderland board and he hasn't mentioned owt to my knowledge

So I'm assuming Joe's just recovering...I hope. Will let you know as soon as I hear anything

Heading around to that time of the year again when we remember the good lads that passed away, nearly joined my brother Paul on a couple of occasions during the year but still here, growling and scowling at the **** show destroying our great abode, North, South, East and West, we need the snipers back, the jackals that take these ****ers out with the blink of a eye because in the blink of a eye they have turned this Country upside down.. For me, had the triple bypass in July but my sternum hasn't naturally healed so I have a rib cage in 2 parts like a busted bird cage, very very painful and a hospital stay in the New Year to clamp it all together.. I will take this moment to wish you all a very Happy New Year, so many great lads, so many different ways of life but so many tuned together by this forum.. I will raise a glass to brb who runs a great show here and hope to be back with the best soon.. be happy lads, be safe and keep smiling.. Joe x

Cheers mate, missed y'all by the way.. My sternum hasn't naturally connected, rib cage is a absolute mess but apparently this can happen with COPD patients, the sad thing is in the US and EU they automatically steel clamp the sternum in COPD patients as they know it will be a problem post surgery. I currently have a moving rib and sternum structure, great for party tricks but a ****ing nightmare to live with,, Hey, love to you and yours btw Fosse, never let the bastards grind you down, you are far to special for that crap..

Cheers Joe ... you've given me a few flashbacks there mate ... didn't have your complications but recall all too vividly being encouraged to cough up the **** that gathers on the chest from the op ... clutching hold of a rolled up towel to the chest to cushion the ****ing pain... just stay with it buddy ... it all gets better in time.

Howdy all, just a drop in to say I’m still alive and kicking, heart is ticking but just about to go back into hospital to have my sternum plated together, it never healed so I have been living with a part 1 and part 2 rib cage, very painful. Seems to be a few missing now, Tobes, Comm, sweats, bluey, stan and Tel to name a few? Looked at the Sunderland board and it appears to be open warfare on there again, nowt changes and always the usual suspects.. Mist ya loads lads and hope to return to the fold sometime soon, brb, pisk, surly, chief, saffy, the mag lads and the rest of the Arsenal and Spurs lads, keep the banter flowing, I will enjoy the read and to sucky a special mention.. see ya soon you miserable twats, keep smiling, life will get better..<ok>
