I think the thing here is that if you 'believe' (in whatever shape or form, which is your right of course) then crack on. But to those of us who don't believe, we can't help but think that you're all disturbed in some way. I don't mean that to take the piss but I find it incredible that seemingly intelligent adults buy into it. Furthermore, if someone doesn't agree with something like for instance the policy on immigration (just an example btw) then it's human nature to denigrate it and say 'what a load of rubbish', so why should religion be any different?[/QUOTE]

i actually agree that it is human nature and why should certain things be different
however if you read back th eones who resorted to 'abuse' were the 'non believers' as it were
as you say you find it incredible that seemingly intelligent adults buy into it (it meaning religion, i assume)
I would say the same about those who peddle other 'theories'.
my points being that when talking about religion
A) people only look at from a western/christian viewpoint. Disregarding EVERYTHING else
B) dont actually know a lot about what they claim the do 'believe'
now cue those who think i am talking about them individually
