Given our ref v Coventry I question whether he’ll be the first black ref to do a City game; I’m sure that Uriah Rennie never did a City game?
I should have checked as I now recall Steve Thompson being sent off by that clown of a ref and it was a terrible decision) Trundle & Lee Johnson were playing which didn’t help12th August 2005, 1.3 home defeat to Watford.
He also did a later away loss at the Wurzels, 0.1, 15th December 2007.
The ref tonight was absolutely abysmal; out of his depth at this level. So inconsistent. That was his championship debut - if he was a player making his debut he’d be straight back into the stiffs next game.

Been dreading when he’d next appear after his error v Coventry last season - it’ll be difficult enough against 11 but 12

Well there's a turnup for the books.
We've got the hapless Darren England against the Wurzels on Saturday for his first game back after his VAR debacle in the Spurs/Liverpool game.
Well as expected we witnessed today another display of absolute incompetence from Blobby. Keith Stroud is like Jack Taylor by comparison.
He should be seriously looked at by the EFL as he’s not up to parks standard.
Hopefully let’s praywe’ll never see him again.
Anyway onto Huddersfield where it’s a newbie for us (as far as I can see) Anthony Backhouse.
Indeed but look who’s the 4th officialWell there's a turnup for the books.
