<laugh> He's already got one foot out of the door and it seems spurs fans are stamping on his toes on the other foot.

    It's a coincidence. Triffic.

    What, Gomes?

Your mum's looking for a bigger opportunity.
Sorry, I just wanted to post something equally childish.

Ok, to lighten the mood let's 2nd guess Harry's team for blackburn.

    ---------Defoe--------
    Walker-Sandro-Gallas-BAE
    Bale-Parker-livermore-modric
    ----------VDV----------
    -------Sandra-----------

subs: Brad F, Nelsen, Bentley, Lineker, Saha

Why make any changes to the morm:-
Its the same team selection process and the same formation as in previous weeks,. and that appears to be:-
The first 11 players to turn-up on match day..... Get changed...... and go onto the pitch and stand/play where you like.

I'd say that it's more likely to be the same XI that he's picked whenever he can, Bajan.
Flat back four, all the midfielders playing as centrally as possible and an isolated striker.

    Yes PNP.,
Its all very Narrow, shallow and negative.
Lets hope our opponents, for the next four games, takes some degree of petty on us.,

That story has been known for some time - a brief rundown can be read here: http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896...en-comolli-liverpools-new-man-in-the-transfer

It also sheds new light on Bale joining. Before, most of us assumed we were going for a well-known hot property - here it underlines that Comolli took credit for the work one of our scouts did to convince him to join us.

Hmm, well, yeah but you'll have to bear with my scepticism of a story containing no quotes or substantiations and which comes from the goal.com website. I know that's slightly annoying of me but there you go. It might be true but it is also true that I could publish an article on a blog and then leave it for a while and it could well become accepted rumour (whatever that is). Soon it will be the case that the thing I made up was "rumoured" and that event x is "said" to have effect y.

Anyway - I don't think that Comolli not being responsible for Berba's signing changes my opinion of his work (or that of Jol's) one little bit. He made Bent and Bentley our two most expensive signings ever when if there were two positions covered in the team it was striker and right wing! And he bought a LOT of crap/unnecessary players for a lot of money.

Martin Jol, however, is a goddamn legend. For obvious reasons.

They're basically equal top with Modric. Though I think some of Bentley's fee is due to add-ons.

But no - Dalglish would most definitely do that. Well - maybe push the price up into the £20m + mark.

Bent is the most over rated striker in the premiership, worse than Carrol...

I think Chelsea may suffer after the classico defeat, I think there may be some urgency to put that right in front of their fans. Having said that it was a late game, so only 2 full days rest and its been noted in Spain Barca look tired from over using the same players...sounds familiar!

As far as Harry goes, yes mistakes have been made, clouded judgement some say, but he has had a mentally exhausting time since his heart attack, I've not seen this taken into consideration too much. Maybe the stubborn ox needs a rest aswell as our fullbacks.

Harry boy is at it again, blaming bad luck for all our current problems. " i've got 5 central defenders and three of hem are injured, how many do you want for 2 positions" . Well, Harry mate, when three of them are well up to their sell by date anyway, what did you think could happen? Bad luck with Saha, too. Excuse me Harry, but i think you'll find the blike has a small history of being injured!
On top of that, he has reportedly had a row with Ade about his form- so it looks like that's going tits up, as well. FA, come And take him away now, please!!
