I'd say that is only part of it reading my original post. He also gave unauthorised interviews criticising the manager. The manager may also be unprofessional, he may not be very good, that does not mean a player can do as he pleases, there are rules to follow. Could you honestly see another manager letting HBA criticise him openly and not having to fine him? No manager good or bad is going to put up with it. He has a long history of unprofessional behaviour, its no surprise it has continued here.

Being in shape to do your job even if you will not be playing because of other issues is still a requirement of professional athletes sadly for him. As others say I'm not sure why HBA didn't just get himself fit. It kinda renders everything else he says as redundant really. If he can't even meet the minimum requirement, nothing else really matters. I haven't guessed at anything <ok>

Being unfit has nothing to do with it. Ask Shola Ameobi, who's worn out more physios' benches than anyone in the game and, yet, how many years did he play for Newcastle? No, my friend, the capacity for independent thought is what disturbs this regime. A censorious tendency of NUFC that goes back to the 1920s and the overly vocal Hughie Gallacher. They will ban, ban and ban again out of sheer vindictiveness, regardless of the monetary cost. That's why BBC Newcastle are so supine towards the Ashleyites.

Yes, let's get rid of our best player because he has opinions. Brilliant.

I like Hatem, he's all heart but I agree with Redknapp... mentally, he doesn't appear as engaged as his heart does, such a shame nobody has yet to figure Hatem out. Maybe Bruce can but as soon as Hatem learns to harness his thirst for the plaudits and acknowledges that a team consists of a group and not only a star, he can really show what he's capable of.

I'd struggle to accuse Shola of being unfit. He did have a lot of injury problems and was entirely **** but not unfit. It has everything to do with being unfit. They are professional athletes, its a minimum requirement. When he was fit and playing well he played under Pardew. When he wasn't he didn't. Simple as that really. Its all very well having an opinion your manager is not the man for the job. Countless players have had that opinion. Shearer and Big Dunc didn't rate Gullit. I never saw either take to the press to inform the world. No they went into the managers office told him to his face. Both still trained hard throughout the period and kept in shape. Its about being professional.

He has never been our best player either. Most natural talent yes, but unless you are willing to apply yourself that will count for jack ****. As we have seen when he has played over the last 2 years looking a shadow of the guy who scored those wonder goals.

This regime and this manager are far from my favourite people. I just refuse to accept that every little thing which goes wrong is down to them. HBA is a charlatan.

    Ok Capello...

Let's think about it like this. Is it professional for a club to not communicate with fans? Is it professional for a manager to headbutt another player? Is it professional for a manager to push a linesman? Is it professional for an owner to have his little whipping boy run naked across the pitch?

Yet you spew forth your villainous rage every time against a player who's clearly not comfortable working under these clowns?

I mean, if you're going to bring up "past behaviour" and stuff, you need to stop being a hypocritical little bitch, just like Pardew hahahahaha <party>

Boredom factor has hit the critical level for this topic.

He was our player. He was occasionally brilliant and often fairly crap. He is gone. Kluivert Mark II.

    Ok HBA fanboy/fluffer.......

I have no problem with saying there is a lot if professionalism problems within our football club at board level, coaching, management, the whole shabang. I think I have commented many times on this. This does not excuse HBA or give a reason for his fitness issues. There is a squad full of players who have managed to maintain professional standards with regard to fitness and behaviour.

You'll have to try harder to find an excuse for fat boy. <badger>

Fair play. We can't deny that's an effective tactic. Nobody could have any delusions of grandeur when they still have people like you in their lives.

Shola not unfit? He'd sprain his ankle getting out of bed. Still he's the famous 'Mackem slayer' and beyond criticism, not like that effete frenchy.

If we're honest, if I can be permitted a Pardewism, we don't know what has gone on behind the scenes. What I do know is Newcastle have given away their best player. Yes he has attitudes. Which self-respecting man wouldn't having to work under these clowns?

I would love it, simply love it, for Hull City to stick it up Newcastle and for Ben Arfa to milk it right under Alan 'Butter' Pardew's nose.

I'm not sure you understand 'the basic concepts' mate if you think Shola's sickies are all bona fide.

As for Newcastle's results, bugger them. If it hurts Ashley's regime, I'm in favour of it, whatever the offense to you balance sheet addicts.

As what hurts Ashley is that Newcastle should lose, then you are one of those people who wants us to do badly. In fact, the opposite of a supporter. Which is of course fair enough.

Do you support any football team ?

I earnestly hope Newcastle will hit the very bottom, and I consider the 'fans' who continue to turn up to be fools , to put it mildly.

You should try supporting a club sometime. You might like it.

Lots of Sunderland supporters feel like you - - maybe give them a try. Or Man City. They're doing well.

Last place you should spend your time is around here.
