I'd like a change but can't see it happening & would make any difference? Maybe, what fcuked me off sat was the subs couldn't see the point of who he brought on, we needed pace & they stayed on the bench, the fans can see so why can't Harry & his merry men see it, when I saw the team out I thought it was a no go, utd was there for the taking but yet again wrong team & tactics, can I see any improvement at present no.

I think this is one of those examples where two people can watch the same game and see it totally differently mate. It's all opinions and you may well be right.
For me, after half time, we were never in it as Utd changed their system and totally dominated us. Falcao had the clearest chance of the first half and should have scored. Our two chances were long range efforts from Charlie, well saved by a World class keeper.
IMO on another day, we could have lost that by 4 or 5. Time after time we just hoofed the ball back to Utd. The only time we kept the ball better was after Taarabt and Kranjcar came on. Isla was criminally under used down the right as he seemed to be the only player capable of getting in behind them and their left was obviously their most vulnerable point. Vargas looks totally shot of all confidence and I'm not surprised, as he's being played out of position all the time.

We are 2nd from bottom, have lost all 10 away games and Redknapp continues to play good players like Vargas out of position.
He is a busted flush and will take us down imo.

However, I could well be wrong and I really hope he proves me wrong so that I can enjoy all that humble pie come May!

I've spent most of the day reflecting about yesterday's game mate. I still feel that we played well and applied ourselves sufficiently that any subsequent performances with similar endeavour should see us ok. However the bit that's niggling away at me is what you stated in your OP, and that's playing the right players in their correct positions. It pains me when we do it at QPR and it pains me when England constantly do it too. I should of addressed this point in my first post but for whatever reason failed to do so. Playing the right players in the right places should be a basic platform for any professional sporting team. Can you imagine an American Football team or a rugby union side trying to do get away this kind of shenanigans? So why do the so called top managers feel that they can get away with it in football? I can understand it if we had a series of freak injuries etc but it's because Harry didn't start the season yet again by not recruiting the right players in the right areas.

What did Kramaric look like to you?...
He had a couple of good moments and good on the ball, but to be fair to him, he hasn't played a competitive game since December and a couple of days training so was a big ask to hit the ground running.
lets hope he can bag a few goals in the coming weeks!

I thought he was a cracking signing, good scoring record in his home league and Croats are always skilful on the ball. To nip in and get him ahead of Chelsea and some of the big boys was a great bit of business, shame our scouting system is still using VHS...<yikes>

I think they start using vhs in 2 years
Our overseas scouting system is a triumph of equal opportunities, we've won awards for it. It's a legacy system, set up in 1996. We exclusively use blind local children who don't speak English, who send messages to Gerry Francis by carrier pigeon. Gerry sends then on to us, 2nd class mail, when he remembers.

Spot on mate.
It is quite unbelievable how so many coaches do this. Scholes, one of our greatest talents in a generation, was totally ruined by England because we had to stick to 4-4-2. Harry is out of date and just doesn't do fluidity etc.
The team will never function and play in a cohesive way if so many players are playing out of position. Simply playing all your (perceived) best players, regardless of whether they are in their correct positions or not is ridiculous. Sometimes it's done as an experiment etc, but we have 3 players in alien positions just to get them onto the pitch in a fixed old fashioned set up!

it was a real coup to get Kramaric, ahead of Chelsea and Juventus, it will just be a shame though that we may only have him for 4/5 months if we go down as he won't play in the championship.
