Fair enough but if you go down the route of the players 'picking' the manager we could end up like Chelsea with a player mafia.

Is it correct that Harry is the first Spurs manager since Bill Nicholson to deliver 3 successive top 5 finishes. I can understand your frustrations at not nailing 3rd when it was in your hands, but overall Harry has made you more consistent, I think like many others here that the January window was poor for you, but with the right additions and departures in the summer (I would cash in on Modric this year), you can carry on improving but that also means you need to Harry to stay.

Let's try buying titles, shall we? It's a bit closer to the truth.

He simply likes being a big fish in a small pond. Le Tissier was another one as was Shearer.

To put Shearer in the same bracket as Le Tissier is a bit far fetched. Ok he turned United down, but he went 'home' and nearly delivered the title, he may have been the biggest fish in Newcastles pond but it wasnt exactly full of tiddlers, Speed, Given, Lee, Solano, Ferguson, (a fit) Dyer and Euros Winner Dabizas! were all there too. And as for Adebayor biggest Fish at Arsenal? City? Real Madrid? I dont think so, so this is a new thing with him is it?

No, he wasn't, which is why he is now paddling in the shallow end - so to speak.

Poor Wum attempt. Ade is a key player for Spurs. But, he's only one. Modric , Bale, VDV are all as important as him. Besides, this is pretty rich coming from a supporter of a club that has one great big fish, and very little else!
