Redders comments on Austin

I really do love reading threads on this forum that have got assumptions riddled through them and then say how bad the management is based on those assumptions being fact.

Josh,

I'm assuming you've never had to make assumptions in your life time, assuming of course you've never been in the position where you've had to make assumptions....:emoticon-0148-yes:

The assumptions made are pure conjecture based on no substantial evidence

You have no means to make these assumptions, just like this thread

If you misinterpreted the intentions, or aim of my thread josh, well, it's your interpretation.

The assumptions comments later were said tongue in cheek, hence the thumbs up, if you misinterpreted that one too, well, it's your interpretation.

I don't think I did, this clearly wasn't tongue in cheek. If it was, it definitely didn't come across that way.

Redfearn has jumped in deep end with both feet, dug his own grave and made his hangman's noose.

Will he keep playing a badly performing Austin because of his commitments made, which would not only be detrimental to team, but have the media all over it as well, or, does he go back on his word and commitments and drop Austin, in which case, not only will Redfearn make himself look like a bloody idiot in front of team, club and fans, but will also have the press all over it too; in other words, if Austin doesn't continually perform then Redfearn cannot win either way, so it's a continual case of Redfearn picking, playing and bloody well hoping

You have clearly made assumptions that Redfearn has made promises to Austin to make him stay and how he is gonna be made to look like an idiot for it. Its nothing personal but I see it a lot on this forum where these assumptions are made and then based on them everyone starts being overly critical of people at the club. There are hundreds of examples.

If you don't like the manager or owner or whoever, thats fine and there are a lot of reasons not to. Just don't make up reasons as well.

I'm going to look at this from a more general perspective mixed with my own,....

As I wrote above Josh, I wrote it from a more general perspective mixed with my own.

If I remember rightly, I used a few if's and or's, and also looked at it from a what could / would happen perspective considering what Redders had said to media.

I came over to this forum cos I liked the way things were debated, and with added humour, I didn't come over to fight with anyone, and I won't, least of all you.

Last time I looked, I was, and still am entitled to my opinion, just like everyone else, however, what I don't appreciate is someone who misinterpreted the aim of my post telling me what I am, am not doing, and further more, telling me what I should and should not do.

I have no problems with others critiquing or disagreeing with my posts/comments, after all, I disagree with others occasionally, what I don't do is tell others what they should and shouldn't do or write.

I like this forum for what it is, and has become by the present contributors, however, if your debates are friendly I welcome them, I love a good conversation but, if you want to tell someone what to do, I'd appreciate it if you took it elsewhere as I won't be resorting to fighting with anyone on any matter; everyone is entitled to write from their own perspective / perceptions, including you and I.

No malice intended Josh.

Damn! And here was me hoping we were going to have a fight that Glory, Ristac or me weren't involved in! :D

Whatever dude, you have clearly taken offense I didn't intend. My first couple of responses were more of a passing comment.

Im kinda just getting sick of how regardless of what the club do they are completely incompetent. Its been a good month at the club and so many are so quick to criticise. I have my doubts about individuals at the club too but I'd prefer to judge them on things I KNOW rather than things that I don't.
