I played nearly every week and it was great! The only two ways it could work though, due to edits is (not that I'd ever cheat...) for the thread to be deleted at a given cut off point, then resurrected after the matches have finished. For this to work easily, RAWMOK will have to become a mod, or Beddy or Kingsland would have to check all the results for him. The other way would involve poor old RAWMOK doing a lot of printing!
Can anyone think of a different/better way?

Sounds like a plan... now all we have to do is get RAWMOK to start the thread! He seems conspicuous by his absence at the moment, is he actually signed up on not606?
Would you have to close the thread manually or can it be set to close automatically at a certain time each week, say 2 o'clock on a Saturday for example if all the matches chosen are Saturday 3 o'clock kick-offs...??
Also, I don't mind starting this off for the first week in RAWMOK's absence and then he can pick it up once he's back on the site if everybody is OK with that...??

I wasnt going to but if there is enough interest am happy to. Will trial it for August. need 20+ players to keep it interesting.
I will post predictions wednesday night and update thread on sunday with the results. (jackski, if you have already done something i dont mind you starting it off, other wise i have some predictions and i will start tomorrow)
Beddy - how long can you edit posts for??? If for example its 3 hours i will put a closing time that predictions need to be made by eg midday saturday. the times are shown on each post and i will not count anything after that time.

Yes, I'm in RWMK, great news, I want a chance to defend my title....I won't be running my Fantasy Football Comp though, as there is already the Texaco Championship not606 league running, which I'm also in.
I was morgans25yardvolley, tihnk I missed the latter end of the season though. I can see myself being more committed to this one 
I can close a thread for you say at mid day. I can reopen it when ever you would like as far as I know if you are going to do it say on a Wednesday we can put a sticky on it and close it and reopen as you wish. I guess us mods will have to stay out of the competition in fairness to you guys as we have an editing feature the whole time. I am not sure if the time stamp always is applied if we edit. This is all new so is a good experiment. Something I found out tonight at Saint_ Lambden's cost was that if you multi board it you cannot have a sticky. So if the Pompey lads want to join in they will have to come over on to our site. Any way you let us know what you want and we will try and accommodate. As for your question about editing it I will have a look and let you know.
