To think we will get 2 M for Bauer is fanciful in the extreme. He is in the last year of his contract as are another 13 or 14 players. He will be sold, of that I have no doubt.

I understand the price tags put on Bauer and Fosu were meant to convince fans the Club wanted to keep those players.
Already difficult to believe, this ruse will be completely exposed if the Club sells either player and then won't reveal the transfer fee.

The Club's attitude under this ownership - that Charlton fans are utterly thick - shows no signs of changing.

We've already sold 2 CB's, Konsa and Lennon, and we'd be left with the expensive Sarr, whom nobody would take on a free, and the injury-prone Pearce., plus whoever comes up from the u-21's. Who would have thought when we offloaded Sarr to the lower tier French club that we'd be reliant on him 2 or 3 years later?

I posted on Twitter that this will be our worst Charlton team / squad since the 80-82 vintage - nobody has demurred yet.
