We would obviously need to sign someone to cover that eventuality, I wonder what Klopp's plans are.
There is a couple of things with Can..........silly free kicks given away in dangerous areas around the box, he can't seem to stop himself.
And giving away possession to easily and too often.

He was poor this weekend tbh. Worst game of the season for him. I can't work out if Klopp wants his players to hold or press. We certainly don't have a traditional midfield set up!

Do you mean pre contact or sold in January?

His contract expires in summer doesn't it? So still have until may.

You could tag Henderson and milner and matip and klaven etc in that. Not just down to him is my point.

    Reasons to be UNcheerful? :bandit:

    • We're 5th but we are not playing well.
    • We always look like scoring but don't score enough from easy chances.
    • Couthino looks good but could have recovered more quickly from his "back trouble" which may come back in January?.
    • Mane is back but he was missed too much and needn't have been away.
    • Lallana still to come back but may disrupt a winning team.
    • Spurs can't win at home but wins away too easily from Kane's performances.
    • City and Utd will wobble but that may happen too late for us.
    • The transfer window is open too soon in 13 weeks (as we watch out for Barcelona, Madrid et al coming after our top performers...)

Dare i say it but you really should have bought one of these guys:

    Bakayoko
    Matic
Fernandino? (i reckon city would have sold him, would have loved him at chelsea)
    Chalobah? :p

who were going. Would it be too silly to say even Drinkwater might have done a job as a DM (at least he'd stay there).

If only we lived in a world where people want to buy your **** instead of your best players.

Hendo is the cool head in the middle of the park, in the chaos of midfield he has the ability to find a red shirt and retain possession.
He was given motm by some on Saturday (Chris Pajak, Redmen tv) but is routinely criticised by some on here.
Milner's Mr. reliable and has good experience and Matip is our best CB by some margin.
I do see the upside of Can's game aswell, but the free kicks and loss of possession stand out for me <ok>..........he's replacable.

Nor can you claim it'll disrupt a winning team after getting our first win in five games
