    • We're not playing well but are still 5th, 2 points behind last years champions
    • We always look like scoring
    • Couthino looks good
    • Mane is back
    • Lallana still to come back
    • Spurs can't win at home
    • City and Utd will wobble
    • The transfer window is open in 13 weeks
    Feel free to add.

How soon can we expect Lallana and Clyne back, any ideas? They will make us stronger.

Think it will be Can, Keita and Coutinho.

But I reckon Can and Coutinho are both off next year.

Lallana is key to our game imo; he starts the pressing and creates space for others. Not sure it'll be so great for the team when Coutinho and Lallana are both post of a three man midfield though...<laugh>

I won't be bothered by either going tbh

Can; he's a decent player but I don't think he's top notch. He's certainly replaceable imo

Coutinho; because I thought he'd gone this summer so this is a bonus season as far as I'm concerned.

Keita replaces Can anyway. Can't see us getting Lemar next summer unless he has a poor season. We'd just need a DM so as we were...

I’m not sure he’s key really - we’re scoring a lot of goals without him. I’d say we missed him when we didn’t have Coutinho in the team. For me, he will rotate with Phil in that role.

Can is definitely replaceable - but my issue is that we shouldn’t be replacing him at this stage. We should be getting rid of the **** first.

Despite him bring considered more attacking than defensive, I think we concede less when he's in the team

That would be such a great midfield.

    Can
    Keita Coutinho
Such a pity it's not going to happen.

    Don't think it would be.

    Why?

Can I'd showing zero interest in being that no 6 right now. Saying that he would prob be put there by juve and then take it seriously but he's stinking the place up at off when asked to do it.

I'm still not convinced by Can, he worries me from a defensive point of view. I think he'll be gone next summer anyway

I dont. I think he's ponderous on the ball when stationary. He is at his best running with it.. when he gets running.

Give him at ball to feet and he takes to long to decide where it's going next and too long to control it.

I don't think he's great at covering others either.

    Interceptions.. not so much...

In short if he wants to go fine. That's up to him. He's a pro about it.

We need a very reliable steadying hand at no 6. A leader. An organiser and most of all a selfless attitude to enable the Keita types next year go run off and do their thing.
