I don't like flavoured IPAs but stouts/porters are a totally different ballgame.Am I the only one on here that doesn't like 'flavoured' beers? Mango this, chocolate that, **** that, stick to the beer taste. Or am I just totally uninitiated?

Not a fan of fruit lighter beers (like ****ing mango) but don’t mind things like chocolate stout.Am I the only one on here that doesn't like 'flavoured' beers? Mango this, chocolate that, **** that, stick to the beer taste. Or am I just totally uninitiated?

Not a session drink though, more like a one off pudding!
I would agree but then had a Damm Lemmon (some probably wouldn't class it as beer)Am I the only one on here that doesn't like 'flavoured' beers? Mango this, chocolate that, **** that, stick to the beer taste. Or am I just totally uninitiated?
You doing it the wrong way roundI would agree but then had a Damm Lemmon (some probably wouldn't class it as beer)
Its so refreshing, fairly low alcohol so would be good to drink on a sunny afternoon before proper drinking in the evening
Im thinking afternoon around the family then evening out with matesYou doing it the wrong way round
Drinking strong beers in the afternoon (or even late morning) is the way forward.
You can hit your preferred level then slow down (volume or strength) as the evening wears on so when you go to bed you don’t have looming unprocessed alcohol about to creep up and give you a crap nights sleep.
Tune into Dr Den next week for more drink related health tips.
They're erm...Stealing our Mangoes to make ale,the bastards!!!Might just be me but shouldn't beer taste of beer?
I'm a big advocate of things tasting like wot they're supposed to taste of.
As is the general public consensus, I suspect.
For this reason you rarely see a big display of odd looking fruit in Sainsbury's labelled beer flavoured mangoes, do you?
Nice Plum PorterSt Peter’s Brewery were very good in the olden days when I was known to have a tipple or two.

Ok, don't be shy, where is it, what's it called? There's a pub locally to me which refuses to serve any lager (only ale and cider) and hasn't been redecorated for about 100 years
It won Telegraph pub of the year for the Midlands region![]()
It's The Three Kings in Hanley Castle, WorcestershireOk, don't be shy, where is it, what's it called?
The village pub near where I used to live in West Sussex had no pumps, ale or bitter was poured from the barrel in a back room. Lager was only available in small bottles and I think there was only one option. The food menu was cheese or ham sandwiches on white sliced but only if the landlady was in a good mood. There's a pub locally to me which refuses to serve any lager (only ale and cider) and hasn't been redecorated for about 100 years

Obviously not doing that well if they haven't been able to afford to redecorate for a century. They should consider getting Stella on tap, the real stuff from Wigan - none of that french rubbish, and might start earning enough for a refurb. There's a pub locally to me which refuses to serve any lager (only ale and cider) and hasn't been redecorated for about 100 years
