Nice up there Smug, been going up and down to Kirkcudbright for the past 6 years but sold the static up there last August. Might have a venture up the west coast and islands in the motorhome, but probably wait till the summer.

How's the mandolin coming on.?

The Highlands and Islands on the West Coast are beautiful. I was on Raasay as a student, beautiful little island off the coast of Skye. I loved the coach journey up and back. The lochs, the hills and mountains, visiting Fort William and seeing the snow on the top of Ben Nevis despite it being 25°C...

The only way to follow RTG is to read/post every day and keep up with the in-jokes, etc, ...

... on here, people drop in when they have a moment and catch up with the latest.

Exactly, it's too busy for casual viewing and the match thread can be an abomination at times with wums and too many posts.
I'm too old for that shìt unfortunately :D and if I wasn't too old I'd be spending my time more constructively like shagging <laugh>

RTG is full of mags I wouldn't trust any of the anti club rants.. I know of a few die hard mags who are on it daily ,unfortunately I don't know who they post as . I hope the club takes little notice when trolling through a lot of it.

Problem is under Methven and Donald the club did. I was told ages ago that some involved with the club used to look on social media and message boards to gauge fan opinion. I think sone things were said and done by both of them to either keep them popular or head off criticism by looking at social media (until it blew up in their faces)

Methven was on RTG

If you're up that way please feel free to come and see us.

There's plenty of room for your motorhome and there's a salmon river runs through the property, we have all the gear.

We arrive the day after the MK Dons home match so around the 20th of Feb ...

... we'll soon settle in and the owners are rarely there, plenty of time for ourselves and learning to play my mandolin.
Very kind of you that Smug, really appreciate the offer. I'm sure at some point we will be somewhere near Newton Stewart, so you never know....

It's a beautiful part of the country up there, with loads of interesting places all along that coastline. 7stanes mountain biking and a dark sky reserve at kirroughtree, is a good place if either of them interest you. Floodlit tattoo in Kirkcudbright is a good evening out as well.

Hope you enjoy your new adventure mate, it sounds like a good un.

I don't....

As per my rtg signature...Rules marra Rules, never reply to a skunk or we'll never get rid of the saddos

This may not be popular but there are a dozen Mags I'm happy to have on here.

The idiots, who come and go, spoil it for the decent people.

Mags who'd like to post on here are put off by their own, who'd ridicule them for being decent with us.
