Well Reading are favourites to take this one, whilst we're the outsiders @ 2/1 to win - I find that odd. Funilly enough, Dave Pruton who predicted our win against Norwich has gone for us to win again.

There's an interesting "bet boost" on B365 for this game. They're offering a nice 5/1 against us to win HT/FT. Now do take the more conservative approach of the full time result, or go for broke, hope for an early goal for us and jump in with the 5/1 shot?

The second option.
If it goes wrong charge it to remotes account!

Paul Ince

The most evenly balanced man in football.

Chips on both shoulders.

He really is a miserable piece of work.
I have to say I struggle to see what people saw in him as a player. Yes, he had a reasonable couple of seasons but nothing outstanding.

Then as you say, he's never conducted himself with any good grace or in my eyes, any dignity. I find him very difficult to find any respect for. Don't like getting too far into people's character but he's always rattled my chains.

Ince must have spent all day chewing a bag of lemons

First off whining about Andy

Then moaning about Kipre (not sure ‘swanning’ is apt!)

Exactly. Players definitely don't "swan" off to Cardiff, they gracefully take flight to us!!

Anyway, update ahead of the game today. Major confrontation last night - the dogs found a hedghog in the garden. Red cards shown to both for violent conduct and sent the trainer on with a bowl of milk for the hog to calm his nerves.

Just been out to check if he's still about before releasing the midfield muggers who dashed straight out to the very spot they found it. Memories like bloody elephants - I bet they've been thinking about the hog all night. <laugh>

Thought about renaming them Vaulks and Bacuna but I couldn't be that cruel - they're not that bad.

Reading do seem to have a seriously large amount of players out injured.

The optimist in me says this is the perfect time to be playing them, however, the pessimist in me says it also makes them a bit of an unknown quantity if they are throwing fringe players into the fray.

I see we've apparently sold out our ticket allocation, so should hopefully be a good, noisy backing from the travelling faithful.

I'm probably going to miss much of the action on here today as Mrs Brizzle wants to go away for the night.... Potentially looking at staying up near the Malvern Hills somewhere so we can do a spot of walking. :emoticon-0120-doh:

Any post match musings may be a little delayed as a result (getting a bit of a reputation for being late on here eh?? :emoticon-0158-time::emoticon-0136-giggl).
