Even Rodgers would win the league with United. Thats how well we are set up and run.
the only manager who wouldnt is that fat chap who left chelsea at the end of last season.
Seriously though, why in your opinion will Moyes fail? He did well at Everton considering what he was up against and hes got a whole lot more at his disposal now.
He's also a transfer muppet. I expect some rather large names to come under Moyes. Young potential world POTY type players.
there are only two reasons to wonder about moyes:
1. ferguson was unique and you could boast worlds greatest manager ever... Thats one big thing, nobody on earth can sustain 25 years of intensity and drive. ferguson could get under others skins, i can't see anything other than mourinho winding him up.
2. moyes with respect to our toffee friends doesn't play and never played like Ferguson. he's been long ball and every time he sees us goes even more long ball and sends sides out to foul. Its this totally different and to my view less effective "give the ball to away" type game that i can't see working. Utd more than any other english side learned from europe how to keep the ball and use it with urgency, not just tippy tappy at the back. If this chances utd change.
WIth respect every press hack out there would say the same, its not a wish nor hope nor LFC bias saying these things. Its a big change.
