No arguements from me. We never agree on anything but do here. Absolutely bang on the money. ..someone will carry the can anyway.[
There's been no accountability so far. When there is, we can move on. Not before.

Somebody getting the sack would do, that would be hard to do if the owner gave the go ahead mind, which looks like the only explanation

Good managers and leaders don't put up with that level of incompetence from anyone under them.
I did not say he did, I said he accepted the responsibility and also said I expected some form of accountability but I don't expect nor should it be made public. I am sure heads may well roll at some point but I will trust the club to deal with it in a professional manner.
As an aside good managers and leaders also encourage people to learn from mistakes and encourage them to develop themselves so they can be better next time. Yes mistakes were made and we don't really know who made them or what the mistakes were. what we do know is KLD has taken ultimate responsibility and I am sure he will not be happy about it, the steps taken after that should be dealt with in private and any punishments or otherwise should be decided and metered out in a manner suitable to the offences and done with a cool head and be fully thought out and measured.

Good managers don't publicly throw an employee to an angry mob especially when it may be their first error ...

... and doing that isn't a clever way to attract the best people in future is it?

Whereas zero accountability attracts the kind of people we know have been at the club in the very recent past. People who not only think it's fine for what many supporters consider to be your biggest rivals to decorate your home bar in their colours, but are stupid enough to also think that it won't get out.

Professionals don't make mistakes of that size. You only need to make one error if the error is as catastrophic as this one.

I agree with TNC and I can confirm that for nigh on 60 years I have been a Sunderland supporters as are my 3 sons and 3 grandchildren. What a silly thing to say because someone has a different opinion to you!
Well he never answered the question! IKs he or isn't he... How could any supporter forget what the club allowed to happen

For fs. do you all read what you have spouted off on here? What load of nancies, get life, move on, it was a **** up, **** happens.
Do any of you ****wits actually think about what you do to this fantastic football club? I have supported the club in probably 72 of my 77, almost 78 years, and I can never remember such a load of garbage, people shouting about getting rid of the guy who saved us going into oblivion, because that was where we were heading.
Just because some dipstick (who knows who he or she was) decided to stick some banners up, ok he or she should be shot at dawn, but why are we fighting amongst ourselves? Yes to some it was a humongous FU. but did it affect your life? Relax, take some deep breaths, ask your wife/boyfriend to give you a BJ. Its not the end of the frigging world. Go to bed get a good nights sleep, then tomorrow think WTF was I complaining about.
Our owners may or may not have known about this clusterfuck, who knows, but at the end of the day no-one died, forget about it, ok keep it in your angry memory, but get on with your life.
Love this site, it's all I have to connect me to my club, my team, and it really pisses me off to read all this ****e with people fighting about something that happened a week earlier. Get a grip, it's in the past, you can't change it, move on. By constantly harping on about it, will just make you more angry, but you can' change anything so... sorry, shut the **** up about it
