Have I? Just looked like standard privacy stuff to me. I'll have a look.

No axe to grind over the BCB here. Huge bollock dropped, investigate, implement the recommendations and case closed as far as I'm concerned. Just don't try to hide anything or it's red meat to the conspiracy theorists.
Still limits on, struggling?

As far as I'm aware everyone's profile is visible when you join ...

... you have to choose to block people.
Agree. Everyone is allowed to have an opinion and comment on what they feel strongly about. Limiting profile stops people from viewing posting history and therefore any agenda or patterns of posting. A New member who appeared big on the BCB issue set my warning lights flashing. Skunk at worst looking for laughs or agenda driven, either of which would be called out and ignored.

I'm smelling gravy here.

New members who talk about one subject, and block their profile, always stand out no matter how much they try not to ...

... quite often someone 'returning' or who's been invited.

Not to say that's the case here, everyone is welcome.

Whenever someone restricts access to their profile it sets off alarm bells for me. The default is for everyone to have access.
It shows that they have deliberately changed that setting - not something that a newby would normally do :emoticon-0126-nerd:
There are still ways to see if they have a specific agenda :emoticon-0125-mmm:

The default on all social media sites is for everyone to have all access. You wouldn't leave your Facebook account wide open though. I applied the same principle here. I'm happy for anyone to trawl through my 20 messages ;)

I think the only one known on the boards to go is RAWA rep Guinness Guzzler and he was elsewhere yesterday through work. He went to the last couple of meetings and kept, as was requested, the confidence on the minutes until they were published, so even if he had gone this time, we'd have to wait until they're published. If RAWA had walked out, as was the threat in the last meeting if things didn't improve, then I imagine that would've come out by now.

Nothing mentioned otr either, so we'll have to be patient <laugh>
