Is 'European football' the Rangers equivalent of Leeds talking about being 'massive'? No one else in the world thinks coming second in an awful league is very impressive. Plenty of minor clubs across Europe get into the champions league. Doesn't stop them being second rate.

I doubt players think playing in the Europa League makes up for having to play **** football the rest of the year. Fulham go to the Europa League final. So minor clubs very much do get the the final of the Europa League. It's the league cup of Europe.
