The
BBC reports on Tony Fernandes' continued tweet love-fest about whatever the heck manager he's talking about. But it distresses me to see that the discussion is now making Chris Ramsey the permanent manager on a long-term arrangement. I like Ramsey and its clear the players do too, but why push this now? Why make this a long-term arrangement NOW? It makes no sense.
The win at Sunderland might be the team finally playing its potential, it might just be a random effect of playing so poorly for so long, it might be just a temporary high from changes coming from Harry's departure. Regardless, they've played TWO games. Ramsey's won one of those two. Let's wait and see what happens for at least a few more games before pushing this otherwise we're just asking for more problems.
Ramsey may be the man, but he's on until the end of the season and let's wait until then to sign long term.
