Strange post. I'm surprised, or am I, that you haven't mentioned our disabled members who may be unable to raise their hand.

Anyway to answer your questions. The chairperson counts the votes. If the vote is close the floor usually appoints tellers. If the vote is still too close to call then provision may be made for a paper ballot counted by the tellers. However that only happens if the votes are close. Its not complicated and has served various organisations well for decades.

The difference between a poll and a meeting is that a meeting allows debate, out of which the decision may change significantly. A poll is a simple yes or no or don't care. For example some people like the idea of Hull City Tigers as a compromise. A meeting would allow that to be put forward and a vote taken. Assem Allam's poll ignored it. It is usually referred to participatory democracy rather than a plebiscite. When I was growing up participatory democracy was seen as better.

I'll suggest that we have photos of the AGM, but someone will have thought of that already.

The future of CTWD is up to the members that attend the meeting. If they just joined up to fight the name change then they may say, "I've done my bit, that's it I'm off to the pub before the match for a drink". Some may have done their bit but would like to see who the committee members are to say thank you for standing up for them. Some may be interested in the idea of a new Supporters' Trust and want to get involved. It will be their decision. Same as backing a man that increased our turnover (excluding transfers and parachute monies) by £35,000 in a season when we won automatic promotion to the Premier League is yours. Some may even think we've done a bad job and want to tell us.

The biggest mistake they made was not doing a deal with the council. We'd have had another layer of corporate boxes bringing much needed money into the club if they had. They would have had boxes to offer sponsors which would have brought in additional revenue. If the deal had included an hotel they would have had the rent from that as well. Reading make over £5 million a year on average from theirs.

That's a lot of money wasted simply because of his spat with the council. When he finds the money to move to Melton all that extra income will go on paying the mortgage rather than on the team.

With a little imagination and some start up money Hull City could have the wealthiest supporters trust in Britain. Assem Allam may never talk to us but if we are wealthy enough the next owner will. After all the purpose of the supporters trust is to build the club.

Remember Happy, life is sweet if you don't buckle.

another one that could use bullet points.

Has anyone actually read that monstrous amount of bullshit in the OP?

Does anyone actually bother reading any of Happy Clappers boring old drones anymore?

Maybe CTWD could become a violent guerrilla group, and aim at eradicating boring pro name change cabbages and the FA? I'd certainly join then!

I really didnt. I'm like Party, I read the first couple of lines of a long post and then move on. I dont care enough about other people's opinions to read that much.

Make your point in 2 paras max, with each para no more than 6 lines. FACT.

I didn't even get that far. I opened end the thread, saw the size of the opening post and who made it, and skipped the whole chuffing lot, comments included.

- Excellent post Happy. Humorous as well as serious.
- Interesting that so many haven't bothered to try to answer, but instead have used diversion tactics. That says a lot.
- Credit to Obi once again (although the post does go off into 'dreamland' toward the end in my opinion).

Trying hard to adhere to the new posting rules. BTW, where are the bullet point icons on here?

Speaking for myself, I haven't "bothered to try to answer" because the man is clearly mental and the original post is a pile of steaming horse ****. Do Not Feed The Trolls...

And I've given up answering them, as he ignores all the answers he gets and just posts an even bigger pile of steaming horse ****.

Any news on tomorrow's team Mr ITK Man?

This implies you both wasted the 5 minutes of your life reading that ****e <laugh>

Would have been more productive to smoke a cigarette instead.

Happy....The FA said NO.

In my opinion they would have said no even if CTWD did not exist.

To many people think CTWD are the reason why the FA said no.

I like to think the FA made up there own minds .

It's over......or it should be.

Like you I also like our owners and want them to
Stay..

Enjoy everyday Happy...forget the name change stuff and what CTWD do or don't do..It's not important .

May I just offer my services here to count the ballot?

Just three piles needed: yes , no, couldn't give a ****.

Bundle em up in lots of 100.

I'll do it in approx 3 hrs

£100 take it or leave it.

Some interesting responses, some predictable ones and some that clearly break the rules of the board, and in any other thread, would be moved into their own thread, say one about tomorrow's game.

As one of the "non contributors" is a mod, and the main one who enjoys moving disruptive, non relevant posts is also joining in with that...

Go on, one of the mods, prove me wrong, move all the completely non topic related posts into another thread. I don't need to "report" anyone because you're already aware of it going on.

Oh thanks for the "I didn't read it, I don't want to waste my time but I'm going to post in this thread anyhow" posts. Genius.

Seems to boil down to certain arseholes demanding reasons for supporting the club and the Allams, then when they get them, they have absolutely nothing at all and end up resorting to petty insults and frankly childish chatter. You got what you wanted, and yet you still whine about it.

Well done, I see why you support CTWD.

Bollocks, you had that offer and turned it down.

It was obvious to me why you posted that ****e, that's why I don't take your quote above seriously...seemingly nor does anyone else.

You picked the wrong ride, get over it because you're making an idiot of yourself.

Continually.

Turned what offer down? Ricardos one about a thread for agenda items for CTWDs meeting and the same for the Pro Tigers?

This is not a thread for any meeting agenda, and once Ricardo had explained what he meant, I was all for it.

Wanna make anything else up to justify your supporting childish disruption by posting VERY off topic posts?
