I mean, I've heard of all those, just didn't know they were majors or even what major signified other than maybe a big event. <laugh> (although I didn't realise there was one just called the "Open" I thought there was an Open in every country).

Never played golf, never deliberately read anything on golf, and never watched golf for more than five minutes. To me it lands at the cricket and American Football level of boring. <laugh>

I've done putt putt which was fun, and a friend took me to a driving range once which was OK. <ok>

My wife's friend recently suggested we put in an frisbee golf course in our woods using the trails as fairways. Now, that sounds more fun than real golf... Although looking at the price of each "hole", I probably won't do it.
I've played underground golf.

Nobody said soccer for usa 4 sports.

Interesting.

Yankball, basketball, baseball and the ice maimings are the 4 traditional but I'm very sure soccer is far more popular with the Hispanic etc

I did ask for the' Big 4 American' Sports, rather than just sports played in America.

Which is what I wanted tbh

Traditionally those 4 are know as the 'Big 4'

I'm surprised that people haven't come across the word epistle - not just in the biblical sense. Any time someone writes a long letter that goes on and on it's commonly referred to as an epistle.
