No. There's no assumption. I'm not suggestion that they've actually done anything, just what would happen if two religions were true and if they had done something. You've missed the point of the whole thing and that was that your demand for justice isn't met by your religion or indeed that of the other Abrahamic faiths. Conversion to Islam would clear Bush or Blair from any previous sins, wouldn't it?
so you like to ask me what anjem is getting? you like to tell me wht bolynali might be saying? how about you ask anjem as offered directly mano et mano and let BA answer herself if she is interested You are assuming he would lie to you, he has clearly said its not the media's business. and i am assuring you that he will answer you keep bringing anjems income up this is the chance to clarify once and for all It clearly grates with you as you bring it up its fair to deduce then you are either scared or full of ****
Yawn. Not all this again. Why hasn't themoronwithnointellect been banned yet for inciting religious hatred?
so assuming this scenario was played out, and assuming their actions were as you suggest? and to answer you directly, re Blair bush conversion and previous sins - NO you have assumed further. As i have previously stated you have no knowledge of Islam and this proves it
PleaseNotPoll, that was exactly what I was trying to do, and also to find out just how fundamental an Islamist he is. It's obvious the man can't be reasoned with so I'm not going to waste my time. Shame as some well written posts and coherent, thought provoking arguments raised.
As usual, your deductions are based upon fantasy. Choudary's a layabout who doesn't want to work. It's well known what he's claiming, but anything I link to will be dismissed by you, so what's the point? If he won't answer the media, then why would he answer me? In what way is it more my business than that of every other tax-payer that's carrying him? You asked a question. I answered it. You haven't posted any objection to that answer, preferring to cry about me answering it instead. The only coward here is you. You're clearly too scared of the answers that have been posted to read them, as they may actually show up your ridiculous beliefs about science for what they are.
You're making those with an open mind hate religious nuts like you. I already hated religious wacko's but some people don't. Now they do.
TFWNN when responding to my last post on this thread you said that this wasn't about "religion" or "God" but about "origins" and "creator" (your post #580). That may be so, but you've been trying to prove your point on a religious basis so I am struggling to understand how you can differentiate between them. I think you also made a statement that science will just lie on occasions if they can't actually provide an answer. I don't think that's actually true but it cannot be denieed that scientific studies can be manipulated to suit the opinions of those who comissioned the study - the pros and cons of global warming is a prime example. However, the same happens with religion - some Christians believe that the bible should be taken literally and there are Americans who go on coach parties to Israel to see the Holy Land before Armageddon happens whilst others treat the Bible as a moral compass and don't take the stories within it at face value. In Islam, the moderates preach that there should be tolerance and understanding to those of other religions whilst the extremists want to wipe out the Jews (and more than likely the Christians). I'll never agree with your viewpoint, but at the same time I won't criticise you for having that different view. It makes life "interesting". SNIAW thanks for your message and thanks for putting up some really decent music.
so lets go and find out from anjem more allegations and assumptions. No substance talk is cheap son, grow a pair. If you make allegations be prepared to provide evidence I am not the one refusing to ask a question that is clearly grating me direct to the source
No, not assuming anything. If this did happen, then this would happen. Pretty straightforward and no assumptions made. I have no knowledge of Islam? Interesting, as Islamreligion.com appears to back up what I've said. http://www.islamreligion.com/articles/204 Upon entering the fold of Islam purely for the Pleasure of God, all of one’s previous sins are forgiven, and one starts a new life of piety and righteousness. The Prophet said to a person who had placed the condition upon the Prophet in accepting Islam that God would forgive his sins: “Do you not know that accepting Islam destroys all sins which come before it?” (Saheeh Muslim) Islam-guide.com also seems to think the same thing, quoting Mohammed, no less. http://www.islam-guide.com/ch2-4.htm When someone converts to Islam, God forgives all of his previous sins and evil deeds. A man called Amr came to the Prophet Muhammad and said, “Give me your right hand so that I may give you my pledge of loyalty.” The Prophet stretched out his right hand. Amr withdrew his hand. The Prophet said: {What has happened to you, O Amr?} He replied, “I intend to lay down a condition.” The Prophet asked: {What condition do you intend to put forward?} Amr said, “That God forgive my sins.” The Prophet said: {Didn’t you know that converting to Islam erases all previous sins?} Are they wrong?
Look, i'm sure there's websites for people like you, rather than cluttering up a sports-themed site with religious tosh.
There's no evidence that Choudary would give me an honest, open answer and plenty to suggest that he wouldn't. Should I just go with what you're telling me and risk a total waste of my time for no reason, though? Hang on, that sounds familiar... Grow a pair? You're afraid to read a link or watch a short video! Laughable.
I agree the boundaries get blurred, however the only excuse/reason (however you want to take it) I can offer is the attempts to answer so many different people coming at me from different angles. Just look at mine and PNP's discussion it gets side tracked and you cant simply say ' that was a response to sos and so not to you' I dont mind discussing th 'errors' or 'manipulations' in religions as we know them today. and my argument/view on the differences in opinion regardin religion is that the onus is on the individual to find the 'truth'. If that 'truth' is no belief so be it. I argue as much with muslims as I do non. I also discuss with priests vicars etc. I enjoy it tbh
