Would be good to see some fan support at the games for Madsen. We are quick to berate some players and maybe if he starts to see a bit of appreciation (when he plays well) it might spark a bit more confidence.

Stoke are so niggly. Falling over, trying to get yellow and red cards all over. They didn’t deserve to win because of that alone.
We’ve got a nice little team haven’t we. Sure we’ll lose games with some of our piss-balling around, but it’s great seeing our forward line when they push forward. Saito, Burrell, Kone, Vale can all play a ball; sometimes it’s great, sometimes it ain’t pretty but they want it!

I went to Stoke away last year so this felt especially good for me.
The possession for the first half was over 65% to them but we had the better chances by far. It is goals that count, though one might argue that goals come from greater possession.
Around about 75 mins, I messaged the lads to say it was now a one goal game and so it proved, thankfully in our favour.
We should have been at least one nil up at HT and Stoke were feisty for most of the second half.
Madsen does, indeed, deserve praise for a solid game.
Morrison's clearance to prevent an otherwise certain goal was both instinctive and skillful.
A draw would not at all have been an unfair result but obviously thrilled with the win.
Looking forward to every home game but especially at the end of January when we 'welcome' Coventry!
