Anyone know what was wrong with Balogun yesterday ? Don't want to be without him for any length of time.
Rested as he didnt have a full pre season was the official line

Lovely if that was the caseRested as he didnt have a full pre season was the official line
Yep but we know how quickly things can change, Balogun just looks like a rock. Hopefully all 4 stay fit for a long time. We're blessed with CBs at the moment. Clarke-Salter was excellent last night.
I don’t really understand the ‘Chair needed to step up’ sentiments I’ve read (not so much on here). He’s been full of energy and movement all over the pitch all season, a lot more to him than the spectacular goals. He’s clearly loving it this season as well.
I’d like to see a bit more from Roberts, but I suspect I might be missing quite a bit of what he does. He certainly gets kicked a lot (or makes the most of contact). He has a lovely touch and movement, more of a link player than an out and out striker.
I like Beale highlighting Kakay post match. He’ll never be the worlds best but he’s full of running, gets the crosses in (ok of variable quality) and is getting better. Hey, he’s obviously being coached!
I’m still pinching myself a bit this morning. This is fun.
Yeah, since the legendary Samba Diakite. Though he had usually amputated the opponents legs before he ran away from them.I think Roberts was the only under 7/10 performer.
Frustrating as there's something there, but never a premier league player.
Can we call Tim, Pogba as i will never be able to spell his name and his languid style reminds me of a young Pogba?
Not the finished article but the first central midfield player I have seen at Rangers in a long while that can run away from players WITH the ball.
The ease with which we switched to a back three last night speaks volumes for the CBs and even more for the coaches. Remember when Redcrapp had an entire summer to set up for a back three, bought players like Ferdinand R and Isla (good player) to do it and gave up after one game because Hill and Barton couldn’t work it?We're blessed with CBs at the moment. The bad old days.
Last one conceded was vs Swansea ...when the ball was stolen off Field, soon after Diengs penalty saveAm i correct that in last 5 games we have only conceded a pen and an OG (Wells' shot was not going in)?
Actually iId give Kakay 6 and that was for his cross.
Aside from that i thought he was terrible. Harsh but true.

Diakite was at the game last night.
Considering his career with us was so short it's good to know he has fond memories of the place. If only he'd had a proper manager instead of Hughes and then Redknapp. You must log in or register to see media
Nick London/ Sinton said he was just being rested.Anyone know what was wrong with Balogun yesterday ? Don't want to be without him for any length of time.
But don't you see a Reading squad that is not really built for the future. Hendrick and Carroll played well..but with Yiadom, Hoillett and Lumley in team... can't really see it.
Dunne Dickie and C-Salter back 3
And also he rejuvinated the midfield:- Tim5vowels slipping seamlessly into Fields position
And Amos and Dozzell...taking over the midfield
IT WAS ALMOST AS THOUGH WE HAD PRACTISED IT AND KNEW WHAT WE WERE DOING
