Willock was excellent while he was on the pitch, we struggled to get forward after he went off. Field was really good too, but I'd have to give my MOM to Dykes.
I think Willock was my MOTM, tireless and creative throughout.
Shame about who the ****ing ref was !Shame about our two head-to-heads with the Cherries, really.
Did the trick though !This aged well........![]()
Any chance you could miss a few more ?Well of all the games i miss we go and hammer someone !!!
Would I be too churlish to say I didn’t enjoy the last 30 minutes of casual showboating when if Reading were half decent and could shoot anywhere near the goal, might of got one back. Hope I am not sounding too Hammersmith
That long range effort was a sign of tiredness. We were directly in line with it, he had a clear run on goal but hesitated, clearly didn’t trust himself to keep the ball or stay ahead of his marker, and wellied it instead. Almost Austinesque.Yeah, I wouldn't argue if Willock got MOM, we weren't the same after he went off. I just thought Dykes deserved it for his goals and all-round 90 mins performance. If that long-range effort that the keeper tipped over had gone in, there would be no doubt.

He should have been subbed at around 60 minutes. He played great until then, really putting himself about like a proper CF, bullying defenders, winning the ball in the air, quick lay offs to Willock and Amos, took his goals, which looked easy but needed good movement and execution, very well, very good - except when he had the ball at his feet and time to think, which is not his strength at all.
Hopefully a step in the right direction which will be repeated.
