Great result. Fantastic result. A score line the team has been deserving for sometime (and over the fakes too :emoticon-0102-bigsm).
Just shows what we can do when we’re on song. Really pleased Dykes got a brace. Willock and Dunne are going to be some players for us!
Sounded like a fantastic team performance and the after game spirit of the team is definitely a warm fuzzy feeling for all us fans.
Makes for a very nice Saturday evening. Well done Rrrrrrssss.

Thought today the crossing was better hence the two headed goals, that’s not been happening later & our CF thrive on good balls into the area, stefs free kicks need to improve though, mustn’t moan as that was a good as performance I’ve seen for awhile

I think Willock was my MOTM, tireless and creative throughout.

Yeah, I wouldn't argue if Willock got MOM, we weren't the same after he went off. I just thought Dykes deserved it for his goals and all-round 90 mins performance. If that long-range effort that the keeper tipped over had gone in, there would be no doubt.

Would I be too churlish to say I didn’t enjoy the last 30 minutes of casual showboating when if Reading were half decent and could shoot anywhere near the goal, might of got one back. Hope I am not sounding too Hammersmith

You are I'm afraid mate.

That long range effort was a sign of tiredness. We were directly in line with it, he had a clear run on goal but hesitated, clearly didn’t trust himself to keep the ball or stay ahead of his marker, and wellied it instead. Almost Austinesque.

He should have been subbed at around 60 minutes. He played great until then, really putting himself about like a proper CF, bullying defenders, winning the ball in the air, quick lay offs to Willock and Amos, took his goals, which looked easy but needed good movement and execution, very well, very good - except when he had the ball at his feet and time to think, which is not his strength at all.

Hopefully a step in the right direction which will be repeated.

Should hopefully give him huge confidence going forward.
Pleased for him.

A great team performance against good players who lack confidence.

Would have been pleased with a 1-0 win. But a 4-0 win is a great present.

We are on a roll and we should enjoy the run. I am desperately trying to “control” my emotions and “expectations”.

What is there not too like? It is fun to support the R’s!
