Yep. We were saying before the game this was our best team and best chance. Feck if I know the answer.
That's exactly what we'll have to do. We will lose Dieng, Chair, Willock and Field for sure. The loanee ****ers will return to their clubs. Albert and Johansen are finished. A massive rebuild will be required to try to be competitive in league one, playing Ainsworth’s kick and hope brand of football. The future looks bleak and I can easily see us slipping further down the leagues.
Well good luck for the rest of the season, we've got Reading on Monday so we can do you a favour, by the way had a chuckle at the commenet we were a poor side, so bad we are two points from the play offs, if we hadn't lost five home games on the bounce we would have been challenging the top two As for Sh*thousing we play football that would make the 1970 Brazil World Cup winning team look like non league. Keep fighting lads still games to play
Whatever happened to the fantastic team spirit we once had? When, if we went a goal down, we were all optimistic that the ‘team’ would bring us back into the game - and even win it! The squad this year has diminished from a ‘battalion’ to a bunch of soft bananas who see the first goal go in and stare at their bootlaces - rather than urging each other on to take back control. It’s like they don’t trust each other any more. GA seems to be undeterred with it all - hard to see him make anything out of this lot now. They look to have given up on themselves. Sad ****ers. Get out there and fight for your pride. We will remember what you did!
I don't think you had a poor side at all. I commented to the fella next to me that it was a PNE side with some considerable skill and pace and not like some PNE sides where size was the main feature. Thanks for the good wishes and especially good luck against Reading.
Never realized this game was even on yesterday, Good Friday!, had a Saturday game in my head, so actually had a relaxing day at the beach and a lovely lunch with a couple of lovely locally brewed IPA's. Best I enjoyed my day and didn't get sucked into the frustration vortex. So we definitely need to find some points to avoid relegation, preferably 3 point wins. So Reading are currently 1 point below us due to a points deduction (6 points?). Would be typical if they took the drop with us meaning Fake Hoops in Division 1 again.
Injured. But when fit I’d start him in every game we’ve got left. He’s the only one cares and gives 100%. His sheer pace and effort might spark something in others. What have we got to lose? And if nothing else, it might give him the confidence to rip it up in league one next season
Now that MM has gone from Blackpool, whose to say they won't win 3 on the bounce? i know i said we'd beat PNE and or WBA, but surely we must be one Coventry, Norwich or BC @ home and fluke an away point? For the first time, i have started thinking disastrous thoughts. Also GA can't stay if relegated as that would make no sense as we were in little danger when he arrived. Now we're in big danger.
I'd like to see Pedder from the U21s given a go too. Didn't see yesterday but sounds like our CMs weren't at the races and I've been very impressed with Pedder from what I've seen. Can't exactly get much worse.
Watched the highlights. I know I have a long time to watch and analyse but I think Chair had time to pass the goalie and put it in. Fraction of a second to decide but had it gone in, goals change games.
No idea, I don't get it here (France). We get a bank holiday for Pentecost (40 days after Easter) and All Saints Day (November 1st), but not Good Friday.

Clive's absolutely spot on with all that. As soon as I saw we were only playing 2 in midfield I knew we were screwed. Our wing backs couldn't get forward because we were so overwhelmed defensively. By all means play 3 centre backs and wing backs, but play it in a 3-5-1-1 and overload the midfield to at least try to make it harder for the opposition. I'm afraid Ainsworth is looking totally clueless.
