Not heresy but it seems true that we are making progress.
Yes, we should have won but last season's team would not have mustered ten shots on target.
Morinho used to say a ten man team is hard to beat (they feel the injustice, get fired up etc) and that's another factor.
There's also the QPR thing of playing to the oppositions level. So we draw with Plymouth twice last season but beat Burnley and Leeds.

Strangely - as Clive Whittingham points out in his report - the game against Plymouth last season was almost exactly the same as yesterday, with us against ten men for an hour and unable to break them down. The stats were almost identical last year, too - 10 shots saved, 10 off target, 9 blocked.
