Match Preview;
So two matches in, a loss against one of the stronger sides in the division and a draw having been 2 down at half time. So encouraging to get a point after the first 15 minutes on Saturday, but still feel Cifuentes needs to work out his best starting eleven with this set of players, and get the balance right so we aren't completely exposed at the back, or leaving a line striker up front all by himself for the match.
Our opponents are starting their second year in the Championship, having won League 1 in the 2022/23 season. Last season they survived by one place and one point, so finished 21st with 51 points. Their top scorer last season was Morgan Whitaker with 17 goals, with the top scorer from the previous two seasons in League One, Ryan Hardie, scoring 12 goals last season in 28 games.
