Well there is a load of stuff
Are you Stanley Matthews?
The modern game is nothing about getting that wide and getting crosses in that old football surely? That’s old English ... it’s easy to defend against that nowadays
Most crosses are certainly hit nowadays from just outside the box at pace
If that’s the tactic you think we should be playing god help us
Positional play is key in today’s game and defending on the break plus each game changes over the duration as often it opens up a bit .
Players would get whipped if they played the ball into the corners where the bi line is even when I played . You go in there to take corners and sometimes to waste time .
As a defender myself I was often taught even then to drive them into the corners .
You cannot play football in the corners
Ok if you have a player that can beat a player by skill or running off you have an option but that’s not a bloody tactic!
Wide players no longer need to operate within a few feet of the sidelines that rubbish
You zonal commitments are from the sideline to the centre of the pitch depending on your formation which today’s changes with and without the ball .
442 is just something Sky has brainwashed into people.
I see our current team all knowing their jobs with the exception of our final bloody pass
What a load of ****e Bob did you buy your badges? Did you study on the continent?
Don’t sound like it to me mate
