We lack width because we play the three amigos in the middle, arguably one of the real successes of the season. If we want more width we'd need to drop one of them wouldn't we? It's a bit of a conundrum and you can be sure Ollie would be ridiculed if her dropped any one of those three.

Oh dear you really are showing your true colours now, knew it wouldn't take long. Why have pitches so wide? Erm....to use the width! What does using width create erm....space! What does space enable you to do erm....play and pass. What does playing and passing enable you to do erm....create opportunities. Basics my friend basics. Simple game made confusing by fools like yourself

You will find that 4-4-2 came before sky tv !!!
And you totally miss all points made regarding formation. If anything sky is to blame for the opposite. Pumping so much money in that people are too scared to lose!! You are a pure contradiction. Ian is trying a formation which is fine if done correctly. Do you see it working? And if so please enlighten us and tell us how

And as for the badges, yet again my point sails well over your head like a cross from Bidwell! This country and the FA tell you how they want you to coach, robotic in part but you follow their criteria and bollox to pass it. You then once you have your badges coach how you feel the game should be played based on your own opinion not that from a dinosaur Charles Hughes manual. Because somebody has a badge doesn't mean they know any more or less than the fan down the pub!

I am so open to opinions on our tactical situation. Some agree with me and others are happy with what we do now. What really intrigues me Paul is that your only contribution put forward is about caring. You best get on to the FA and get them to stick that in their courses pronto

Oh dear that is a very simplistic view on space as if it’s a given you can get any
The reason anyone used to play the wide game was to pull apart the shape of your opponent when you are in play on the ball

Any credible footballing person knows this

Maybe a middle aged fool but more confident I have experienced a lot more football than you may give credit for ... no problem

Bob you must have some warped issues as your input on here ramps up after a loss...
character flaw same as for example Col you must watch too much crap on TV . Only happy when you are winning

What in god name does the FA know about football? Look at the English game take away the imported skill set and you are left with some real dopes.
Funnily enough the U.K. national team is at last producing some exciting talent and have a outside chance of performing at the WC

Take away the outside worlds influence you have a real ****storm. People like Col etc should show more faith in their club side and look at the auto default position taken by him when their is an Engaaaaland match on

The rot comes these people and is controlled by a truly awful footballing association.

The penny has dropped DT regarding width. That damn sky tv has got a lot to answer for inventing the 4-4-2 with wingers. Everyone is happy to win DT but you seem happy to lose aswell.and there lies the difference. I believe we could stop as many losses so post accordingly, is that warped?? Think you need to get a larger bubble to live in

I can’t control loss as a fan only could I do my bit when I played. No point in bitching about stuff out of our control . You want IH sacked or gone and offer very little as an alternative other than very old skool ideas about football akin to U.K. Sunday league football. Let’s have some ideas on record on here who do you want as a manager? Who do want as players ?

IH will go ... it’s football in 2018

I want QPR people at the club

Sometimes Paul, your anti-English stance pisses me off ever so slightly.

I have no problem with it mate, other than when you go on one of these rolls it usually ends up with you taking a long sabbatical and the board gets more boring as a result.

As it is you and Bob are repeating more or less the same things endlessly (it feels) to the extent that I’m not reading the interplay anymore. Just sipping the Malbec waiting for the beef to cook.

More Lynch please. Not the footballer.

I don't think we need too many players at all just someone to set them up. Again you totally miss my points which is becoming all too familiar to the point I know you are now wumming. Old school football , what's that exactly? Please elaborate if you can. As for managers there are numerous guys doing better jobs on less budgets in lower leagues. I like Graham Alexander for one. Paul Hurst is another. Paul cook at Wigan. There are loads.

Couldn’t give a ****e. I have a point plus I seen and compare the two every two weeks.

It’s good you still have some UK soul and belief but take a stock check at least

Sincere good luck with the new job as maximum respect for a real job
