Match Preview;
After a good win on Tuesday night against Reading we face a tough test this weekend with a visit from Derby. No doubt the match will bring back fond memories for many of us, and many a cry of 'oh Bobby Zamora!' will be heard. Interesting one for McCLaren, who managed Derby twice (from 2013-15 and 2016-17) and so will hopefully have something to prove to his former employer.

Given the recent history between these two, the pride we take from our day out in Wembley, and also the disdain many will have for their Chelsea tarnished manager, it promises to be an exciting afternoon and good atmosphere on Saturday afternoon.

QPR will be aiming to sign off before the international break with three points when they host Derby County at Loftus Road on Saturday.

Buoyed by returning to winning ways against Reading midweek, manager Steve McClaren will be eager to back that up in W12 against his former side.

McClaren spent three-years as a player at the Rams before also enjoying three separate spells on the coaching staff at Derby first as assistant manager between 1995-99 and then twice as manager between 2013-15 and 2016-17.

The R’s opted to change things up to get their win at the Madejski Stadium on Tuesday night with Tomer Hemed dropping to the bench to allow Eberechi Eze is the number 10 role. It remains to be seen if Rangers will continue with a similar set-up by Eze will be in confident mood after receiving his first call-up to England Under-20s earlier today.

Derby arrive in west London lead by Frank Lampard.

The former Chelsea midfielder has enjoyed a good start to his managerial career collecting 17 points so far this campaign with County eighth after 11 games.

The visitors played on Wednesday night, drawing 1-1 with Norwich City when Craig Bryson’s 86th-minute equaliser saw them earn a share of the spoils.

COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!

I thought we were away to Frank Lampard's Derby for some strange reason. I'll have to change my plans for Saturday now.
Have we beaten Derby since Wembley?

Just looked it up, once in 6 games since and one draw. Forgot about this game, I think it was this one when we started singing he's one of own to Richard Keogh.

Frank Lampards' Derby form last 5 games LDWLD - 5 points from last 15......
Our form WWLLW - 9 Points from last 15...….

Here's a bit of history before OBZ day, a 1970 cup tie when we did cup runs and Dave Mackay scores an own goal for us to win 1-0. Derby were in the 1st Division at the time and we were 2nd Division......a packed HQ and a bog of a pitch...…

Fwank doesn't like QPR and they will be up for this. I see a different team this week.
