I was really looking forward to it but it was awful and embarrassing. It was like a 1970's quiz show, gone wrong. Never heard of Paul Sinha and just about heard of Sam Quek (who is quite attractive and the only plus on the show).
Yesterday I received a mail from the Club with an apology and a 2.50 GBP refund for the poor quality of the QPR+ stream for the Derby match. I admit that I did complain to the Club during the first half black out. I believe it is a good show by the Club who seem to be Client focused. Had anybody else received such a mail?
Yes, I meant to post the same news, I've got 2 mails now, one of which I tried to send a thank you reply to, but they had some problem receiving mail! The cash could take 7 days to arrive, but it buys us a beer when it does. I had also complained about the lack of stream in the first half of the Derby game, and also with problems I had watching the 90 minute video 2 or 3 days later. I got a faster wifi router in here 4 or 5 days ago , so hoping that will help with the future streams.
Received this email from QPR ... Hi all, I know some of you are aware of an issue we had for our QPR+ live stream v Derby County which resulted in subscribers being unable to view the game until the second half. FYI - we have contacted all subscribers to the game and provided a full refund for match passes, and pro-rata refund for monthly/seasonal passes. The issue occurred as a result of a very specific technical failure to a primary and back-up service. Steps have been taken to ensure this doesn’t occur in the future. The broadcast began correctly at approximately 2:15pm before an issue presented itself at 2:45pmwhich prevented supporters from being able to access playback. This was escalated immediately to a developer who identified an issue with the Akamai Content Delivery Network. Akamai were alerted and following investigation a fix was put in place to allow access to all supporters approximately ten minutes into the second half.
