I’ve seen worse ideas. If we are going to go full Mike Bassett I’d rather Dembele up front with Frey and Smyth on the right who might only get one in ten crosses right but won’t be cutting back four times before putting the ball in.

It's well possible to do but you have to have the players to do it and could quite lose out on good quality players who don't fit that style.
