None I've found as yet on any of the 3 or an update on Salter. Only one I've heard was Richards out for 8 weeks. You do fear for Willock playing so long in such a demanding game, it would be a crushing blow I it's a lengthy spell. Amos is made of glass, and as much as he improves the midfield, how many games a season will you get out of him ?. Paal is grim news too as Nico is truly abysmal, something we've know fir a long time. Not to get in decent cover at left back and a proper right back in are unforgivable errors from the noard in my eyes. I won't even get started about strikers !

I think Amos will probably always be a liability injury wise, but even an idiot who knows nothing about football could see what a difference Willock makes.
I'm wondering whether the silence on his injury means it's quite a setback?

I can't believe Beale would have signed on without knowing what our transfer situation would be and I don't believe Les and Hoos would have intentionally misled him either.

It's easy for us to be armchair experts with regards to transfer deals but none of actually knows what goes into these deals, they clearly aren't easy. We all wanted more deals done by now but then we're QPR fans and we're used to getting virtually a new squad every window.

Mick was unusually down in his last two interviews but they came off the back of a poor team performance and some unexpected injuries. He's brutally honest so it would be weird if he was jumping for joy.

Re Willock he suggested some of the injuries were fatigue related and Chris seemed pretty up in his post Boro interview so fingers crossed its not too bad.

Let's not sign our suicide pacts just yet.

Not many are as knowledgeable as you of course Col, but as an idiot who knows nothing about football, even I can see that Willock makes a big difference. Let's just assume he's out until the New Year, then anything less will be a positive.

We were lucky with our cup run last season, so no surprise about losing last night, surely with season just starting we should be optimistic, great win against Boro. Injuries are weird though, is that 5 first teamers out already?

In his post match interview, Beale seemed pretty critical of all these injuries.
Seems our physios etc aren't up to the job.
Really hope Willock hasn't done another hamstring or something.
The silence is very concerning.

We have hardly started the season and we have an injury crisis. Very strange and deeply worrying!

It's just a carry on from last season, something is fundamentaly wrong. Whether it's the medical people, the training or the fact we keep signing crocks, it needs to be got to the bottom of asap. Beale ain't happy atm

Sunderland have fielded a completely different team tonight so no hope of any of their first 11 being unavailable at the weekend ! Marvelous

Feck me, the doom and gloom on here..... anyone would think we're playing Liverpool or Man City on Saturday..........It's Sunderland for feck sake and their 450,000 fans........

They were okay last season, didn't exactly walk the League, they only scrambled into the Play Offs.......... and they're only 1 point above us........

Hey.

There's a reason we are known as the SUNDERLAND GALACTICOS.

And we have Nico and Kakay as 1st choice full backs ! What could go wrong ?

Also a reason why you don't stay in the Premier League too long whenever you get there. Bit like us !
We've just done 10 years at our last stint there.

I'm happy staying in the championship for a few year, in all honesty. What's the point in getting promoted when you're hoping for 17th every season and knowing you'll never break the top 10?

Yeah and how many years have you spent in the 3rd Division (old money) recently? Didn't exactly storm the League despite having Parachute payments and a huge financial advantage over the rest of the League......

Oh. and they're losing 1-0 to Sheffield Wednesday........

Don't upset them till after we've played them Trammers. They have fielded a team that won't have any players in against us and they'll be at home. We have the same squad of 18 players that couldn't beat League 1 opposition last night. I got 40 mins sleep last night solely down to recurring nightmares about Hammeleinen

U OK HUN?

BTW lads ...yes we are out of the cup....but we didn't lose last night we DREW

Due to last minute pretty damn good goal too.

And then one player missed a penalty ( 3 scored).

When I saw the team last night with no explanation. I was pretty happy with it.
Resting all the right players...with two exciting players to come off the bench.

I wasn't too unhappy with the result either.... a bit unlucky to go out...but with our paper thin squad who needs a cup run.

It has all got a bit messy after Beales press conference, not before.

My great hope is that he is messing the heads of the press and opposition....but unfortunately I believe he is too honest to do that...

Who did we rest? Thought they were all injured?
It really is a strange feeling at the moment. I just can't seem to get into the season for some reason, maybe it's a lack of optimism from myself, maybe a lack of ambition from the club but something just ain't sitting right at the mo.
