Match Preview;
Bournemouth sit second in the league, but are on a poor run of form. They've lost three and drawn three of their last six, their last win came on November 6th...a 4-0 win against Swansea. This poor run has conveniently coincided with a poor run in form from league leaders, Fulham...but has seen the gap to third place, Blackburn, close to just one point.
Their top scorer is Solanke, with 16 goals. They've certainly got experience in their side too, with the likes of Junior Stanislas and Gary Cahill.
As for us, I'm hoping the break will have done us the world of good, and given time for injured players to fully recover, and fit players to have a break.
Team News:
QPR: Sam McCallum and Jordy de Wijs will miss out for the R’s, whilst Lyndon Dykes, Albert Adomah and Lee Wallace are pushing for returns.
AFC Bournemouth: Adam Smith is out, whilst Emiliano Marcondes could return
Pre-match talk:
Mark Warburton (QPR Manager): “It should be a great game and we’re looking forward to it – I’m sure the fans are, too.
“Bournemouth are a very, very good footballing team. I have lots of respect for Scott Parker and the talented players they’ve got there.
“They’ve had a challenging few weeks but their quality is evident – we have to meet what is a stern challenge.”
Scott Parker (AFC Bournemouth Manager): “QPR are a really good side, they have some real good quality, this is going to be a very difficult game for us.
