That was a scrappy affair but there was only one team going for the win. We deserved that. Adomah was quality second half with Chair supplying the magic to break the deadlock.

Obviously it was great to see us win. But I must say, it was odd that Warburton made the spot on choice of replacing Dozell with Amos, which immediately opened the game, only to bring Ball off ten mins later and make Amos go and take up a more defensive position.
As soon as Amos came on, he dragged the ball and the game across to Adomah, unleashing him. That connection was very quickly nullified by Warburton. We needed Ball to let Amos push forward.

75 mins of trying to break down a brick wall of a defence. Boring apart from watching Albert 'Blue Streaked Lightening' Adomah playing like a man possessed.
Subs change the game, Amos especially.
With new energy we create great pressure then a fantastic through ball from Dickie to Chair who beats three players to finish with aplomb.

An important win and well deserved after a dominant second half performance in which Adomah was utterly superb. Their left-back will have nightmares after that.
