Official supporters club is a good idea. What is involved?
 
Should we concentrate on tickets before we sort hotels.. or will we def get tickets.
i would like a single room if possible..

Phoned the Club this morning. Spoke to a gentleman who advised me that there are/had been various official/semi-offical/unofficial supporters groups from Ireland over the years but said he was not the person to speak to. He took my name and tel. no. and promised he'd get someone to contact me.
By 3:00pm no contact, I phoned the Club on several occasions but the calls were not answered. I later heard the the Olympic Torch was in the Shepherd's Bush area, I presume everyone at the Club is out on the streets. I'll try again in the morning.
 
My god the suspense, not just this but having car nct'd at moment....its only 17 years old so should be good for a few more years....looking for vintage status!!!!

Just had contact from an Indyrs guy, you recently joined, I see. I just joined myself.
Apparently there's someone on there from Belfast who may have some answers......hopefully.
This Indyrs guy(from line 1) seems to have some pedigree. We'll get there, inch by inch.
 
i put a thread on there weeks ago and got nowhere. the guy you're talking about could be paul finney? sound bloke I talk to him on twitter.
any help is greatfully received!

That's him. He mentioned a friend, by the name of Steve, on Indyrs, from Belfast. Any dealings with him?
By the way, I should know this, but Dave Robinson, who is he with the Club? It was Mr Robinson who got Paul to make contact with me.

I don't want to be going around the world for a shortcut but I suppose what we are trying to do is set up an affiliated/recognised Supporters Club
on 'not606' with some sort of formal arrangement regarding tickets. That's about the height of it isn't it?
 
steve russell runs the indyrs page on facebook and also the site you've just joined.
I've no idea who mr robinson is. never heard of him to be honest.
 
my cousin is talking to his mates Vic and mark. theyre in the QPR lsa I think. that's where I'm trying to get tickets. again as soon as I hear anything I'll let you know.

Dave Robinson does the stadium tours at Loftus Road. He did my stadium tour. If anybody hasn't done it, I highly recommend. Maybe we could ask Dave to throw in a stadium tour for us? I really enjoyed the last one and wouldn't mind doing it again.

Yes Belfast, go for full supporters club recognition. The facebook page has over 100 members now. Good luck and keep us informed.
