Loftus Road goes double Dutch

Two of the most formidable Dutchmen to ever grace English football do battle this afternoon at Loftus Road - but this time it's in the dugout.

Jaap Stam and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink were Netherlands team-mates but Premier League opponents in the early 2000s.

Today, Stam's Reading side take on Hasselbaink's QPR at Loftus Road.

Both are trying to bring their own brand of 'total football' to the Championship, favouring a possession-based, passing game.

That, Stam told BBC Radio Berkshire, could make for an entertaining afternoon.

It's like someone lent on the remote and changed the channel but didn't notice for a few minutes. Glad it is rectified now.
 
Nice to get an early goal and not be chasing a game - just hope we can build on it.
