I was speaking to a source on the spurs board, he actually works at the club and is a big fan of Redknapp but was explaining Redknapp has never felt at home with QPR. When he was sacked from Tottenham, apparently he was personally gutted that he never received a ton of job offers and was thankful for QPR, for giving him a chance but he doesn't feel at home with QPR. I believe he knows he isn't liked there and you can sense there is a detachment between the fans and Redknapp. He wants to be back in the premier league with a bigger club, while you fans want a different manager, someone younger and with excitement.
But Redknapp feels he has to stay loyal to your chairmain for giving him a chance when no else would (apart from the Ukraine job) after he was sacked from Spurs.
Of course I'm not typing that as fact but its info which does make sense to me as there is something missing, especially as if you look at Redknapp from his time at portsmouth, he was happy there and created excitement.
If you look at the clubs which I believe he was never completely sure of managering (yourselves and Southampton) there was a lack of excitement but as a big fan of Redknapp, he owes it to your chairmain to get you promoted and he still has the ability to do the job.
