Sounded like we could have done with him running at their defence, if you are playing a team intent on defending then you need to be making runs both on and off the ball. Hoilett did it in the 1st half but is not match fit so couldn't keep going.
Yes that was him. The rest couldn't get their ball back! Was obviously amusing Les.
I thought that Henry had a very strong game at RB today. Hall was also excellent at CB
Ali did very well first half but faded a little second half
Only major disappointment today was Matty P - just didn't use the wide space and was too often lazy in tracking back
First 20 mins our passing was crisp and movement fluid but last 20 we were looking very frustrated as Preston defended well
Preston definitely came with a game plan to defend and maybe nick something on the break. Well done to them on another clean sheet - that's quite an achievement for a pretty modest side

Hoilett really looked up for it today and had a pretty good game overall
Both Sandro (until he injured his foot) and Fer were OK. Fer was good in aerial challenges buy can still look annoyingly lightweight on the ground
Would've loved a win today but a clean sheet and more motivated team performance were definitely welcome
Encouraging first-half today, some good passing with Faurlin at the centre of everything. Preston seemed to almost man-mark him in the second half, taking him out of the game. Hoillett looked bright, Henry did well at RB and Hall was excellent again. A frustrating game, but some positives.

Poor game we were excellent at the back and in truth you never looked like scoring. We could have nicked it at the end but point will do me
Faurlin played too far up the pitch second half as well as running out of steam
First half from the half way line he ran the show with 4 quick passers and Hoilett around him

Best display so far this season, well 1st half only, 2nd half back to normal, hoilett looked busy & interested, fräulin ran the show in 1st half but faded in 2nd, nice crisp passing for a change but no shots on target says it all.
Just got home from the game, and really wished I hadn't bothered going. We created absolutely nothing, one shot on target the entire game, Charlie wasn't in it, he had no service whatsoever.
Having said all that, no one played badly we just didn't have the guile to break down a Preston side that clearly set up to gain a point.
