I felt a bit like that too R.

The first half was the only saving grace here. It was slightly more inventive than usual but we fans are so desperate we see that as a major positive. The faithful remained flat and it was probably because we were like a comedian with a great build up but no punchline. The fact of the matter is, is that we have mustered the sum of two or possibly three attempts on target in three games. We have now gone 272 + minutes without scoring and one point out of the last possible nine. Whatever the level of football or the league position of your club ... this is shocking by any standards.

So if the first half was acceptable what does that tell you about the second bit of it? The positives were ... Hall and Henry did well. Other than that it was very dire. The players went through the routine of slowly probing the opposition with a distinct lack of pace or of inventiveness. It felt as though they were waiting for someone to take up the reigns and offer the spark to drive the team on. It never came. We created nothing. Austin, Fer and Phillips were never going to do it, the only player that looked like doing something from the front four was Hoilett but he sadly ran out of puff. The replacements JET & Chery and I can't recall even touching the ball let alone creating anything.

I may be lying about the last bit though because I did something I've never ever done at a football match before. Following two night shifts and about four hours sleep since Thursday morning ... I dozed off. From about the 65th minute until the 85th I have no recollection. I was gone. I asked my mate in front of me for an update ... He's one of the most passionate and animated Rangers fans you could ever wish to meet and his answer was a rather blunt.. '' No nothing mate, it's the same as. ''

I can definitely confirm that I didn't see Sherwood today. However, I can't be certain that nobody else did, so it's almost certainly true.

Oh to the contrary. He was my guest of honour and sat next to me. His gilet was donned too, and following a bout of a four foot hot-dog swallowing competition behind the lower loft during the 2nd half we adjourned to the Springbok Public House whereupon he was greeted by many day time TV followers who mistook him for for that Jeremy Kyle bloke and proceeded to give him a good kicking. Being the perfect gentleman that I am I made my excuses and promptly left. What a marvellous day had by all.

That was just after Onouha made a forty yard run through their midfield and it took four of their players to take him out. Preston were awarded the free-kick and Nedum was booked. This was Warnock's reaction to the incident. Although it's no excuse ... but the ref had a shocker all game . He was pony.

Not surprised with the amount of players inside your 18 yard box. Not what i would want to see every week.
However
You came to QPR with a game plan and stuck to it and we never looked like breaking you down. Fair play to you. Wish we had done that at Fulham and Charlton. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Agree with you we are not great to watch but our aim is to stay in this division next season. We are up against 17 clubs who have been in the Premier League also we have a lower budget than most clubs so it is a bit tougher so to be fair to Grayson if we don't let any in we don't lose. Also our forwards at the minute are not scoring so you play to your strength and at the moment it is working
