Is it a sign of how far we've actually progressed that there's so much negativity around and pointing out players/manager faults/shortcomings because we only drew against Millwall, which in truth last season we'd have rolled over and had our tummy's tickled in similar circumstances. BTW it's a year ago today that Newcastle put 6 past us at HQ, have we forgotten that? This was always a potential banana skin game, they are no mugs, play in an in your face manner, are on a bit of a roll after winning the play off final at Wembley last May, tonked Norwich 4-0 the other week. In the end that's a decent point won as we we're still 2 down after 75 minutes, we should be rather pleased with the outcome...... Here's a link to Anti's knee jerks on LFW.......... Grit. A tiny piece of tough stone, atoms packed tightly together, a minute nugget of rugged toughness that don't take no crap from anyone. Grit. It was a gritty game and for 40 minutes the grit was all from Millwall. We were out-battled, out-fought, and, as Glenn Hoddle might say, out-strengthed. Dear me they were gritty and niggly and angry and fired up and full of gusto. We had no answer to it. They did to us what we have been doing to teams at LR this season (well, teams not called Brentford). All over us, they were. And it wasn't just grit - they passed the ball much better than we did and their direct balls caused us lots of problems. Agreed, the defending for their first goal was schoolboy like, what happened to staying goalside of the player?
It was still a brilliant strike, no keeper would have saved it..........if it was Messi, Neymar, Kane or Ronaldo who scored it the goal would be on a repeat loop with "experts" drooling over it.......

Listen guys. I've had enough of th I'm not sure why the early penalty shout was not mentioned by Clive. I can't remember which player it was of ours but someone plainly got shoved over in Millwall's box. I was awestruck by how the referee ignored that.
The one where Washington went down in their box off the ball and appealed, and then complained to the Ref even after he'd blazed another shot over the bar? I wasn't sure whether he was blocked or whether he'd run into the defender, but he looked like he thought it was a pen.
Nope don't agree they would of beaten us it was a slow start and generally poor all round from us for 35 mins and we were flat as a team and as a club and supporters but we grew back into the game and even a bad qpr team is better than this millwall lot they are fighting granted but will struggle to stay up imo The view we have of our team is tainted by our past and confidence leaks away very quickly This current team we have is strong now and getting stronger by every experience imo We drew this game 2-2 fact and fictionally should of won it by 3 clear goals is my view 5-2 is nearer to how I watched it
I had us down for three clear pens Millwalls game is based around pressing and fight they will lose at least two matches this season by 5 goals or more imo Fine watched them pumped up but as normal speed they look weak imo
Millwall's appeal against Lee Gregory's red card has been rejected by the FA. He will now serve a three match ban. Their fans are going monosyllabic on twitter...
I actually thought that most fans accepted the result. 2 down with 20 mins and getting a draw is pretty decent. I think that overall the fans are frustrated with how the club has been run in recent years. We can all pick out results from a year ago and agree we did get smashed 6-0 by Newcastle, but we must also remember that we went up to the Premiership with Burnley and Leicester and look where they are compared to us? We have had 2 cracks at the premiership and blown both chances, that to me is more important than a loss to Norwich and a draw with Millwall.
