Any reason why there both on bench , the only two players on the pitch that actually know where the goal is . ****ing madness
Decisive early subs, something Ramsey wasn't very adept at. Charlie coming back from injury, not unheard of for a player to be on the bench in that scenario or must we always have something to main about?
can only imagine Austin isn't fit enough to start, now we have round pegs in round holes. Good thing is that it sounds like we have Leeds on the ropes
Charlie wasn't expected to make the squad due his leg injury. So, he comes on late and uses his head.
What a decisive couple of minutes. 57:43 Goal scored. Goal! Queens Park Rangers 1, Leeds United 0. Charlie Austin (Queens Park Rangers) header from the centre of the box to the top right corner. Assisted by Alejandro Faurlin with a cross following a corner. 57:12 Corner, Queens Park Rangers. Conceded by Charlie Taylor. 56:13 Substitution, Queens Park Rangers. Charlie Austin replaces Michael Petrasso. 55:57 Substitution, Queens Park Rangers. Tjaronn Chery replaces Yun Suk-Young. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/34887085
18 shots to their 4. 8 corners to their 0! We MUST get that 2nd goal! (Or else you know what will happen!).
5 mins to go, squeaky bum time, I imagine everyone is in nervous anticipation of a rare victory. I wish we could just get a 2nd goal to close out the game. 19 shots on goal is encouraging, but only 4 on target. Hopefully Finglas' 1-0 (Austin) prediction will hold up, as it did 3 years ago when I joined him for the 1-0 Charlton victory.
