Working within a professional club I can understand what Beth is saying. We aren't privy to what goes on day in day out. Niggling injuries, fatigue, illness, disputes etc etc. I've seen a player at leeds selected on match day but withdrawn for 3 weeks due to the flu. These things happen. Faurlin has had some serious injuries but it doesn't disguise the fact that he amongst others should always be selected above henry. As for the Warburton debate, great coach, lovely bloke and landed on his feet with Rangers. I honestly think that JFH should be given time and the chance to sign players he wants before we shoot him down.
I personally don't like a lot of what Damage says but it's his opinion and I to an extent respect it as that is what football is all about. We would probably all select different players/formations and some may win games and some may lose. That's football!! I think we made a massive error letting Mccarthy go instead of green. All players even the greatest make mistakes, does Austin hit the target with every shot??
I've seen Messi miss an open goal on sky, mistakes do happen, it's lack of effort and passion that gets me annoyed!!

Seems to me that he makes a mistake and gets jumped on from all angles, yet anyone else.......

He's an ex-international making mistakes on an almost weekly basis that a Sunday league keeper shouldn't be making. If any other players were making mistakes of that magnitude every week they'd get pilloried too. Bloody Polter seems to get a load of stick despite contributing a lot.

Probably something a number of posters on here could do with following on occassion rather the constantly spouting off, most of us are passionate about the club but that does go a little far at times particularly when there's little to be positive about.

Just watched again on channel 5 and the ball was almost on halls footwhen green launched himself at it. ..If green had sstayed onhis line then the ball wwould have been put in the stand.
Should also say it was a good delivery by their player. ..corridor of uncertainty as Geoff boycott would say. ...
What I will say about damages postsis that he is posposting opinions and supposition as fact which is a no no. ...If he does have itk info then he should say so then we may take a tad more notice. ..

Exactly my view, whilst I respect everyone might have a different opinion, that is all they are but Peter D parades his as fact which is bad enough in itself but it's often so aggressive as well. That said staying OT it was still Green's fault.

Just watched the Channel 5 highlights, really liked Poltrrs goal, hadn't noticed Friday that he played the neat ball out to Phillips and then busted a gut to make it into the box for a great header. Small positive I know but I'll take what I can.

Anyone else finding it hard to emotionally invest in the team?

We're not rid of the consistent problems we've had in the past 5 seasons and the toxicity of it all breaks your heart.
Why is it that we buy players with promise, it goes wrong for them, and they then find success in their pastures new?

I was looking forward to our rebuild, and was encouraged with the signings of Smithies, Luongo, Gladwin, Chery and Grant Hall. And yet we're served up the continued failings of Rob Green, the sheer laziness of Leroy Fer, the lack of quality from Karl Henry, A Centre Half playing right back, 2 wingers who are infuriatingly inconsistent, and the likes of Sandro who just can't seem to ever stay fit.

All we want at QPR is a team that puts in a shift each week and clear visibility of passion. We're in a great catchment area in the country with West London a great selling point for players to want to come here. All the tools are there, and yet we continue to make the same mistakes over and over again.

Tony Fernandes needs to disappear, we don't need a Director of Football, our academy NEEDS to start producing genuine first team players

Hasselbaink won't be a success here, it's a thankless job for anyone. We have deep rooted issues which need to be fixed.

I'm mind boggled gobsmacked by the reaction on here to losing a close game 2-1 to the 3rd placed team in the League, one who did a fair bit better than us in the PL last season, and seem to have maintained their best players. I know living out of country puts some distance on the lows and highs, but the microscopic naval examination hysterics seems to have gone way over the healthy this time.

Positives: We have found us another goal scoring striker in our last 2 games. Cheri got a game. Green messed up again but perhaps that will result in another Keeper getting a chance. There are still 364 days left this year and we have 9 points leeway on the bottom 4. We are still alive and kicking, honest

Well the definition of fact is "something that is known or proven to be true"

It is certainly known and proven to be true that Faurlin is a better player than Henry

As for Warburton vs Ramsey it is known who is better. And as an added bit of clarity you can get your proven to be true about how much he overachieved and Ramsey underachieved in the Championship

We aren't talking about scientific facts when we talk about players and managers comparison but don't mistakenly think we aren't talking about facts

First .....I would like to echo Bobmid..Peter Damages statements of fact are only opinions not facts. The difference between Peter and many people on here is most offer their opinions with various levels of knowledge, but all are welcome. Aggressive statements are not welcome and that is what I was objecting to

So double standards on here)....... what I said was ..."we had a point before Greens gaff...No Hall is not blameless but that goal was all down to Green"
I have now seen the replay, and I would like to continue with my opinion of that goal ...it was all down to Green.

To go back to another of my comments from last night that we are getting towards "last chance saloon"...
I appreciate loads of teams have plummtetted lower and bounced back...like Palace and Southampton...yes we could do that, but should we be trying not to do that.
I am worried about all this knee jerk reactions on here and elsewhere. We are demanding instant gratification and when we don't get it we act like spoilt children and throw our toys out of the pram.... sack the manager, sack the director of football, get rid of the chairman, change the crest, wheres the training ground...I want a new stadium...and I want it NOW!
....When you write it out like that you must admit it sounds ridiculous...????

So we sack the manager, DofF and Chairman what do we do then?

JFH has had 6 matches We have drawn 4 and lost 2 ................both to winners in stoppage time, both losses to teams in playoff positions.
During that time he has only limited usuage of Charlie Austin, he has had no opportunity to redress the imbalance in the team (which we can all see...no RB, no spare CF), he is only just getting to see the players in the squad, he has no opportunity to look at the players we have loaned out. He stated early on that the players were not up to the level of fitness he requires, and we have just got through a very dense Christmas period, which has stressed that point.

He is on a years-rolling contract....he can walk away in 11 months...please let us get behind him and the team and not throw our toys out the pram with such verocity
